What's more bizarre is that Brad is bringing in four NEW characters almost at once - that's ridiculous. Considering it usually takes Brad about two years to figure out each character's voice (think Maya, Caroline, etc.), this is going to be a disaster. And Sally Jr was laughably sleazy (not in a good way).

Wait, do y'all think young Sally won't enter into a triangle with liam and Steffy? That's the entire purpose of most of the Spectra screw being young. I'm sure Brad is just salivating over his qauds and pents.

This isn't a bad idea. Not at all. But Brad won't do it justice.

Hardly knew ye!

So I've watched yesterday's episode...it's great to hear the name "Sally Spectra" again...but they're striking the wrong tone.

The beauty of Darlene Conley's Sally Spectra and the whole Spectra gang of Clarke, Saul and Darla was how gritty there were. Darlene's Sally was menacing, dark, desperate and mysterious. She wasn't comic relief for years, and even then, she retained her edge.

    • The Gio reveal that he is both a Q and a Falcenari will cause upheaval, but I bet Monica's upcoming death will bring the families back together
    • That would have made more sense than Brooke's other love interests in those years (including the man who killed her daughter).
    • I am counting on Martin to step up and check Bill next week. I need an old, nasty gay read down. Does anyone know if it has been stated that Dani went to college? I felt the same way. I got a bit worried when he didn't pick up the phone. I hope he is in good shape.
    • @Faulkner Thank you, adding that to my queue.
    • I heard the first episode. I will be back after I've listened to more.
    • Even though I wasn't watching GL in real time by then, I was happy that MZ got his long-awaited for Lead Actor Emmy. MZ deserved more wins than the one he got. He wasn't nominated in 1991 but should have been and I think he could have won that year, and I also think he should have won in 1992.
    • How did you guys feel about Devon with Mark Dalton?  I believe so. Brooke needed a storyline that played on her history at that time. I could have seen Brooke fall for him now that she has grown up.
    • Forgive me because this stretches the topic a bit, but I cannot stop thinking about this line in Barbara Rush's (aka AMC Tad's doppelgänger's Ted's mother Nola Orsini & Flamingo Road's Eudora Weldon) wiki bio.

The quote comes from an article about Rush's daughter Claudia Cowen who is a reporter for Fox News.  Rush's ex-husband was one of the biggest publicists in Hollywood.  And, she had a famous house in Bel Air.  But, I want to know how at 70 years old, she wound up at the Lloyd Estate, which is huge, and had been owned by Ron Burkle and Ted Field.  The house was worth 60 million dollars in 2001.  But, I cannot find the story of why/when/how she lived there, because whenever she gets asked about it, she always says that she was “staying” there, not that she bought it. BTW, for those that may not know.  Her ex-husband, Warren Cowen, wound up marrying the mother of Sarah Gilbert (Roseanne & The Talk), as well as her siblings Melisa and Jonathan Gilbert (Little House on the Prairie).  So, Ms. Rush did not get her money from him, because she got remarried to a sculptor of minimal reknown, and they divorced in 1973. Ms. Rush died last year with dementia.
