The Angelica Nero never interested me whatsoever. I found it to not make any sense. I was so anxious to see the Pam/JR rivalry at Ewing and it seemed like it never really happened. There were a couple of scenes of the two arguing and then it was all over. That could have been seasons worth. 

Jumped the shark, I guess.   Sad, for such a preciously great drama.   

If I didn't know any better, I'd swear Angelica Nero was supposed to be on FC, but either FC had already blown their budget for the season, or Denise in staff services accidentally mixed up some DALLAS script pages with some FC script pages and the producers just decided to go with it.

Angelica Nero, Jean Hackney, and the Falcon Crest henchwomen were all straight out of a James Bond movie.

In Barbara Carrera's case, she's literally reprising her role as Fatima Blush in "Never Say Never Again," lol.

Ugh, Angelica Nero! I think that was possibly one of the worst stories ever on any of the big primetime soaps. It made absolutely no sense whatsoever, and dragged on for what felt like forever.   

The thing is, Pam's dreaming this. It's like, where did emeralds, deaf children, and Angelica Nero come from? Was it something Pam ate?

If Lechowick & Latham were writing Dallas in 1986, we'd have gotten a scene where various catalogs and magazines were open to random pages on a bedroom table.

LOL!!

Uncle Lenny helped conceive the Angelica Nero arc because he was still consulting with the show. But he said later he only wanted it to be 8 episodes long. And there was talk in the trades at the time that they offered the part to Diana Ross (“Call me Miss Nero!”)

Oooh, I like the thought of Diana Ross playing this type of role. 

Thinking about some of the casting of those recurring/guest characters.

I really wish Tina Louise had have stayed beyond the initial eps. If she had been there when the show took off maybe she could have finally shaken off the Ginger from Gilligans Island' tag.

Maybe Julie could have shot JR!!

Barbara Carrera and Marc Singer were duds. By the time Barbara Eden was cast, it was too late. There would have been way more publicity and interest had it happened earlier. Or should it have happened at all?

Lois Chiles? Leigh Taylor Young?
