Of course it fell flat. Higs is at the helm. I can probably credit Quan for a bit of the good but I just can't get over how boring and lifeless it all really is.

Hope/Chad wasn't awful and I'm starting to recognize Hope again, but it too overall fell flat. Rafe is such an obnoxious bully. And Roman with his smirk while Chad was calling them out. Ugh. This story has made so many of them look bad.

This must be where Drake goes absent for six months. I liked Kayla's freakout with Steve. I think they wasted Orpheus but what else is new with a return being wasted?

I thought the Chad/Hope scenes were actually the better part of today's ep...which might not say much. I kind of felt for Chad knowing how many horrible things his father had done over the years but it was still his father.

Bringing in Paul/Derrick/Sonny into the episode by tying in Paul to finding out about the warehouse seemed like a stretch just to get the trio on the screen. And what is Andre's goal in helping Patch/John? He helps with Clyde and then helps them but still goes after Hope. The show needs to figure out what direction they are going with with Andre.

The Paul/Derek/Sonny scenes were lame as hell. Sonny wanting Paul and thinking about him before he arrives. Sonny putting his old costume from the past that he and Paul reminisced and Paul telling him how hot he still looks in it. Following a rip of the costume again like years before with Derek being dumb as dirt and not even realizing whats going on. Why was Derek brought back? He just seems like dumb filler material. Later on we will get another scene where Derek tells Paul he sensed the attraction between he and Sonny Halloween night and does he have a chance with him....lame

Chad's writing was good, calling Hope out on her hypocrisy and that she's pathetic.

Rafe's acting like he's the victim and it's on Chad for not see things through the cold blooded murder's POV. With Rafe's rationale he should not be on the police force.

Ben broke into Abby's house, gaslit,  broke out of institution to hurt her, to kidnap Thomas when she captured him and lit him on fire. Hope walked into an old mans in a wheel chair's house, shot him, dumped his body, framed someone for his murder, then let another person continue to take the fall all while acting like she's a Queen. Rafe acting like Hope and Abby are the same was ridiculously stupid righting.

Rafe, Hope and Roman all need to be locked up. They all need to be fired and never on the police force again.

Theresa and Shane talked about Mateo, some big drug lord from Mexico and how he wants her back or some [!@#$%^&*]. She's terrified I suppose. Shane wants her to go into hiding. She said she wouldn't leave her family like he left his. I dunno if any of this was explained when she first came on, I can't recall.

At least Shane calls her Jeannie.

Was nice to see Nancy.

I like Jen/Adrienne buying the Spectator. Let's hope they do something with it.

I thought Theresa's exit would be her death too but I'd much prefer her going into "hiding" than another Brady being killed off...even if this backstory is out of nowhere.

I'll wait to see about Adrienne and Jen with the newspaper. If it brings in more characters and becomes a viable work place then I'm okay with it but if it is just so Jen can say she works there (off-screen)...yawn...and why do I think this "who is chloe's baby's daddy" storyline is going to turn out stupid? I'm bored with it already. That's probably why.

    • They've been on same day for three episodes, which is a good thing because the days flowed weird to me before.
    • I see both Lois and BLQs sides re Gio BLQ wanted her son to be happy. Lois wanted to make sure it happened, so she gave him to family. Selfish?  Yes, but I get it Gio was raised by a loving mother and extended family. Lois followed BLQ wishes Great acting by AS & RS

date: Tuesday, May 27 | Christopher Dunn, Lynn Martin | Steven Williford I feel bad for Chelsea; she's exploring her feelings, and they're getting [unintentionally] hurt. But I love the support that Katherine has for her cousin. Bradley, you deserve one hundred times better than Deadbeat. So much more. Anita essentially tossing Tracy out... whew. She's done. DONE. Ouch... Chelsea hit the nerve with Katherine. How interesting... I feel like Tracy is becoming the mirror Anita has been avoiding while being a Dupree. What are these top secret things she's harbouring? I really hope Jessica's interest in Tyrell is genuine, because if it isn't, it might just destroy him. Back alley meetings? Your family? As if Bradley is not part of your family... Deadbeat, sit your ass down. Hey, Childbride, lower your damn voice. You're in the country club, not the country field where your ass belongs. And oh God, she's knocked up. Whew... here we go! Dante Greene, what control did this man have? But I appreciate that Anita and Tracy are uniting together; I pray that Sharon joins them soon. I love how easy Katherine and Tomas are with each other; it's smooth, it's natural and it's blooming in all the right ways. Hayley is about to battle the Dupree women for all she's worth. I am calling it right now. The unwavering support Vernon continues to provide to Anita is paramount; I adore them as the couple they are. Notes: Mike Manning (Bradley) continues to show up time and time again in scenes with Brandon Claybon (Deadbeat), who brings nothing to the table. There is an extreme lack of romantic chemistry between them. I'm wondering how different Dante Greene is going to be in comparison to Berry Gordy Jnr; we know the true history of Diana Ross and the Supremes, but how different will it be with Anita Williams and the Articulettes?
    • This episode is beyond excellent Could have waited on tge Trina Kai scenes  but regardless  great soap
    • Haha same! I didn't like her in the beginning, but over time, I've really grown to love to hate her as a villain.  I can't wait to listen to today's new episode later tonight! I've been waiting for the mom and dad (Crystal/Vincent) to have an interaction, so I'm happy to hear it's today.
    • I've always really been enjoying the show. It's very well produced and has so many soap stars in it. I was just listening to ep 7 on YoutTube and can say I'm hooked. There was an intense scene with Crystal Chappell and Vincent Irizarry about halfway through that was GOOD! Is it bad I kind of like Mina? I know she's supposed to be the main villian
    • This isn't a bad episode, but I'm finding myself not as engaged. Must be the lack of Eva and Leslie. No Nicole, Dani.
    • Yes!! I didn't realize it before, and had a busy weekend, so wasn't here much

Wow, what happened to AMC this week? Crashing from 8.4 to 6.6.. I mean, I know they used to go up and down much more than they do today, but this seems like a harsh drop (from 7th to 13th). And nice to see Y&R's first weeks
    • Why did they cut Chelsea coming out to her grandparents? We should have seen that
