Yup

I noticed that Liam was running again. Maybe he saw Quinn or Hope? I don't know cause once I saw that I changed the channel. I saw the ending today and more of the same with keep her away from me scene. How many times can Bradley Bell repeat those scenes?

Whoever wrote the pathetic airplanes scenes with Quinn should be sent back to 1980s comedy school. However RS looked amazing in those MC scenes and I don't get why they can't focus on the fact that she is a savvy smart businesswoman. I suppose Brad prefers to treat smart women as psychos (Quinn), sluts (Brooke), neurotic (Katie), wishy washy/lame/needy (Steffy and Hope), etc. Someone should inform Brad that smart women can have problems and drama and still maintain their integrity and intelligence.

Well, a quick rundown, of only the things THEY know about - tried to kill Liam with a Sword so that Wyatt could have Hope.  Followed them to Paris, shoved someone off of a bridge so that Wyatt...could have Hope.  Once she got her pathetic son the girl he wanted...stalked her endlessly even though Wyatt promised "to protect her from Mom".  Hope asked her to stay away from her.  Ultimately causing the death of her own unborn grandchild.  Kidnapped Liam so that Wyatt could have Steffy.   Liam didn't press charges, because Wyatt said (like he always does) "all she needs is some help".  Steffy tells her to stay away from her, and she again starts stalking and showing up unannounced.  And they don't even know about Deacon getting shoved off of a cliff.  So moronic....and every month or so Deacon or someone says to her....."well you've done crazy stuff but THIS is even CRAZY FOR YOU!"  So stupid....he said it again the other day - about either her and Eric or her and going to Monte Carlo.  Why is anything crazy for her?  She's a nutjob.  Yawn.  And Wyatt will defend her now...that's next.  I don't understand why they don't have Liam grow a pair and have him tell Wyatt to go suck an egg - why he even interacts with Wyatt is so stupid.  Tell both he and Steffy - you're both married to IT.  The IT being Wyatt's mother.  Go love it and live it up.

They went to Monte Carlo to do the same chasing scenes. Was Steffy chasing Quinn all around Monte Carlo suppose to be suspenseful? I found it funny as hell in a bad way. I can't believe they flew all the way to Monte Carlo for this.

    • Yes, I am aware of the ballyhoo about Michigan. But, I still do not understand & I will  endeavor to explain why. Do some of us think it was a real place in Michigan, because not thing ever gave me such an idea. I thought we all knew it was a fictional location & I am positive that Irna meant it to be just that.
    • It has come up in this thread before that early on it was specified that Another World was set in Bay City, Michigan, but somewhere along the line the references shifted to Illinois-ish.    I have tried and failed to find any specific clear reference to Michigan, although there have been some circumstantial details that suggest Bay City is not in Illinois. i notice that the AW Bible begins by describing the location as simply "not far from Oakdale", but things do change (the bible calls Pat Cynthia) and we can't take that as pure canon.
    • At this point (and I've changed my tune several times), I'd fully rest the Cassadine family at this point.

    • The loooong pan around the room that ends in actual action with Maria and Edmund vs. just silently surveying the damage is very technically impressive. I don't think I've ever seen more than bits and pieces of this; my viewing was very spotty early on in '93/'94. I mostly remember the aftermath.
    • Disgusting how Gilly was written out. I'm glad I was not watching that travesty. Petronia Paley deserved better as well.   Interesting to me how so many viewers wanted Annie to succeed--the same way they were so invested in Marian/Brett.

Oh how I wish Angela Lansbury would have called out Les Moonves and put him on blast.
    • The first time I cried from a soap, Zane's death. I cried for 3 days.
    • Very happy to see GH hit #1 on Hulu! The show's been on fire and deserves the added eyeballs.
    • I really appreciated all the movement in today's episode.  It resonated with me that it felt like the sort of nervous energy that can surround a family after death. I want to point out the EJ scene.  I was riveted by his multi-layered performance. When he told Belle that he went to her because he loved her, and then saw that she was embarrassed by him, and rejected the part of her that was attracted to him.  It started to make even more sense why he would try to protect Johnny (who I still don't think shot him).  EJ feels like a pariah (although TBH, it wouldn't have hurt to bring Marlena some of that tea that everyone had been promising her all morning).  And he doesn't want to pass that along to his son by exposing him as the shooter.  It is interesting that we see none of those same concern between Kristen and lil'Rachel.
