its about time she channel her energy into a soap related project instead of barking up the wrong tree

It should be interesting! Let's see how it turns out (and if this thread will survive long lmao)

PS. How come there are two of these threads?

LOL

Is that the new Victoria Rowell standard? Two of each to ensure survival?

Good for VR! :) but I'm a little disappointed myself of this so called "all star" cast....except for my beloved Brenda Epperson.

So we just gonna ignore thats its Co Written by Jamey? That cast is so incredibly random but good for VR. They played a marathon of her Christmas movies this past weekend and were previewing her upcoming one.

What network (if any) is this attached to? Or are they going to shoot it and then shop it around?

Thats what I wanna know. Dubbing it a TV movie but they havent announced a network its airing on

All star cast? Ridiculous.

Good for Victoria for partnering with Jamaican tourism to get the show produced in splendour. Hopefully it's a success for her.

I love that she will be using local crews in Jamaica to do the filming. A lot of people complain but aren't about solutions. She seems to be putting some action behind those words.

While I find DC podcasts to be a bit shrill for my tastes, I'm not going to begrudge Jamey for 'shooting his shot' so to speak. As a writer of color myself, I'm not going to root for another writer of color to fail. I hope he gives the project what it needs and it is entertaining and successful. And if he doesn't produce, screenwriters, for better or worse, are easily replaced.

While Jamey is hilarious IMO most times during the podcast, he's always a bit full of himself.....with that said, I honestly think he would be a great HW at Y&R. He knows the history, and I think even wrote a couple scripts not too long ago...
