If Chase remains I for see a Chase/Clare pairing

I doubt he'll remain - as other people have pointed out this is typical of Days's usual black-and-white approach when it comes to good vs evil and their off-springs.

It's a huge waste. I suppose GH could pick him up for Cameron Webber, but I'm still partial to the kid who played Young Luke last year.

I do wonder if Claire's crush on Chase will be part of this story?

Makes we wonder Days will do another one of their "having the same actor, play a new role"

Ugh.

The sad part is this is how society - and daytime in general - feels.

That clip was taken severely out of context and the words were twisted into something very awful.

Before those words he said that the scenes were tough to film because he's good friends with VJ and that he's nothing like the character and wouldn't do anything like that, but of course no one recorded that part.

He still shouldn't have said [!@#$%^&*] like that. Hope he realizes how he royally fucked up

You just made two contradictory statements so...what is the truth?

The clip was taken out of context and what he said got twisted around, but he still could've said the word differently that didn't make him sound like a !@#$%^&*]

Unless he said ''let me pretend to be my character trying to excuse his heinous actions'' right before going on that little she wanted it diatribe I'm not buying the taken out of context excuse.

He's young so hopefully he learns something from this.

The way he is talking saying Ciara flirts with me and didnt push me off I believe he is doing that part of the video in character as Chase. However, that part of the video is in bad taste. I did see the first part as well where he said that he (Jonathon) would never do what Chase did and that he & VJ are very close now that they did the story

I'm not saying Chase couldn't have evolved into a more villainous character...but did they really need to have him rape Ciara in order to achieve that?
