He looks like he has fleas.

JPL looks so haggard and aged. Jay looks like Grizzly Adams.

Christ. The Jared Leto look is all wrong for JKJ. 

 

Soap superstar, c'mon now. Half the people who watched OLTL probably didn't even know Rex's real-life name. 

 

Ill reserve judgment for when I see it play out. Martha Washington Madison plays Belle, so an older-looking Phillip won't look so jarring. Seeing Brandon Beemer/Jason Cook with a 16-year-old daughter who looks like Kirsten Storms is what catches my eye.

JKJ wasn't my type but I thought he had a certain classical style, sort of like Grant Aleksander. JPL just looks like he's going down that Jack Wagner road, which is a frightening place to be.

 

I will say I don't think he'll be any worse than most of the other cast members in his age range, but the show can't afford to just have more grindingly mediocre/sometimes heinously godawful hires, and this isn't even someone they hired hoping he would improve - this is someone they clearly believe is a huge get. 

It's mindboggling. 

Thats why soaps became a joke long time ago. They recycle the same awful hack writers and actors.
