Yeah, starring Jennifer Lawrence 12/25. Apparently, her character in the movie loves a certain soap. The movie itself is difficult to explain because I don't get it. But I guess JL's movies don't need to make sense since she's still the it girl.

It's nice that they are having a bit of an homage to soaps but it's a shame so many only think of soaps as big hair or Dynasty knockoffs.

I really want to see this movie, as I didn't realize a good chunk of it was soap opera related....I'm glad they at least recognized how hard soap actors really work in the industry and it's nice that Jennifer Lawrence with her star rising, seemed to appreciate that fact and recommended Bernard and Wright for the film....most young non soap actors her age or younger that star in movies/primetime probably all would feel degraded if they joined a soap....

David O. Russell is trash but it's nice that he's praising soap actors.

I guess it's safe to admit that I've never seen The Fighter even though I love Melissa Leo.  Just never had the inclination to see it and I usually try to see award nominated films.
