Blind Item: Frontburner Daytime Star Preparing To Leave

I'm completely unfamiliar with GH but the only two major Y&R stars with their contracts coming up for renewal that I am aware of are Braeden and Burton. Braeden's already publicly denounced rumors he might be leaving, but then again who's say he didn't lie? Of course I seriously doubt either Braeden or Burton would leave, even though Braeden exiting would be a breath of fresh air for the show at least in the short term if they handled it right.

That's what I mean...I would shout to the roof if this was about Braeden or even Bergman, but they are both here to stay sadly :(

but....if this is somehow about Sharon Case....run girl!.....run like the wind and don't look back!!

Miller! (and I'd be over the moon). Perhaps this is why GH needed an extra dark week to rewrite?  Can't be to rewrite any of moRon's crap as Jelly's material would air next month which means they are alrighty writing. Perhaps they had to remove Mumbles from the story?

Jason Thompson's hardly frontburner, though I'm shocked he's hung around as long as he has. I can't see him being the type to want to rush off to primetime and movies.

My guess is Miller still dreams of a primetime and movie career that just won't happen. He needs to be a few pounds lighter and several years younger. Sorry but it's true.

A bump up in the talent department wouldn't hurt either.

Truth. He's hardly a master thespian. He needs to stop gaining weight and looking like he rolled out of bed. He should just realize daytime is where he has to be.

I hope it's not Mansi. I've really grown to like Abby lately and Mansi as a whole, though I never had issues with her like some.

It wouldn't be DAYS if a talented, poorly-used young lead who they've completely mishandled yet built much of the show around wasn't leaving! Wheeeee!!!

It's obvious that it is probably Kate (Mansi). At this point, Abby needs to leave Salem and rest. Don't even recast. Bring back Chelsea or Stephanie to be the new, younger lead.

I hope it's not Kate. Really grown to love Abby, and the story with nuChad. They have great chem.

Yeah I get the feeling it will be her. And that pisses me off. But it doesn't surprise me if true. DAYS is terrible about holding onto younger talent and I think she wanted to leave before but stuck it out probably for what she's getting now.

The shortsightedness of the current Trash EPs is ridiculous.  Stunt hiring with actors/performers who won't commit.  Hartley, Miller, Howarth, etc Adam just returned and Jason just found out who is is, and the viewers may lose both?  While I'd love for Miller and Howarth off my screen forever, it's downright ridiculous.  These short term actors/performers for long term characters disrupts the show because no one is thinking long term.  I am willing to bet viewers want a really good well rounded show more than any "talent" they find in Prime Time or those who Prime Time can't be bothered with (Howarth & Miller).

It's ridiculous, especially when execs don't think the genre is taken serious.  Why should anyone?
