Uh oh...I think Carlivati is sweating it. These consecutives weeks at a low reminds me of last year with Passanante/Altman at Y&R. If Carlivati leaves, I'm predicting Valentini will hire his buddy Gary Tomlin.

I don't think it will happen but I want to see RC fired just to see how his apologists in the soap media cover it: "GH HERO Forced Out!"

It is completely satisfying seeing GH tank like this. 9th straight week at a low? Deserved. The show is a travesty.

Truly deserved. The show is just horrible. All the stories right now are either boring, ridiculous, make no sense or all of the above.

They'd just beg and plead for him to go Y&R. I'm sure he watched Y&R for a week in 1988, so he knows ALL ABOUT HISTORY and SOAPINESS.

I have a feeling ABC will keep Ron on and just can the show. Then he can know he killed two soaps, and his sycophants can cry blood tears over the unfairness of it all.

I'm also waiting to see how many will blame the flop ratings on the "edgy" and "topical" TJ arrest story that lasted about a week and had the mob saving the day.

This. Between the test run for Good Afternoon, America and other reality programming tried a few years ago, I think ABC will be content to let ratings crater until it can justify axing the show, as it wanted to since also axing AMC and OLTL.

And if they can't find something to stick, I can eventually see the hour being given back to local affiliates for local programming such as TV show repeats, etc.

Toups that was in beginning then Jean and Shelly goosed the ratings up by September and had very good ratings as smart tv was coming to our screens in big way

I agree with this with every fiber of my being. The more viewers drop like flies, the less noise you will hear when the show is canceled.
