I know some see you as a provocateur at times, but man, there are many times when your insight just says it all so well and so succintly.wub.png

Not to mention his lawyer Daddy!

@Celine, Fen is not a snob and I've seen no inclinations toward that with this character. Remember that goth, druggie girl he used to hang with under some pretty sketchy circumstances?

I think think Fen could understand Mariah a lot more than some might think. Hell, I wrote a story on this board months ago surrounding the two of them. All it takes is a bit of imagination.

ITA. I don't think any show is 'stuck' with someone as talented as CG. HK is likable, but she really needs a strong coach to help her - I believe a lot of what's gone wrong with her scenes the past few months has been a lack of direction. Those cabin scenes were cringe-worthy, but as I said then, I think they were shooting so fast to gear up the story that they didn't have time to spend on nuances. Also, CG has YEARS more television experience, so I suppose it's not really fair to compare the two.

I stand corrected. You are right about that horrible druggie girl Fen was dating. That was really a low point in his life. I don't know but I have a bad feeling about what's coming up for Fen. I wonder if CP is going to hang those murders on him? We all know Sharon isn't the killer, so unless the killer is faux Jack, we are in for a shock when the real killer is revealed.

Fighting over Nick? What? I don't want anyone fighting over Nick. I like him with Sage a lot. But I also liked him with Avery. But I love Avery with Joe. lol

What is there to fight about? Nick is crazy about Sage and she is crazy about him. I would love for Nage to have Nick, Jr. IMO Nick is a great father. I love watching him interacting with his kids. It's time for him to tie his father with 2 girls and 2 boys, and of course the second boy has to be junior.

Yeah, I really don't care much about crazy-ass Sharon and her bullshit, and I barely watch this show, so you really are trying too hard with the wrong person. That being said, Camryn Grimes is the most talented young actress on this show and you're letting your fanbase blinders get in the way of your thinking. I could give a flying !@#$%^&*] about Nick and Sharon.

Gee it's amazing how CG's career has been pretty much a dead end since she left Y&R so many years ago. HK has a more successful career and she is 4 or 5 years younger then CG. I guess the folks in Hollywood aren't aware of Ms. Grimes' immense talent. Wait where is Mariah again?

I guess the current powers that be at Y&R didn't get the CG is great memo either.

    • lol he sounds like he's speaking as Randy
    • Dani going to Bill's house is karma for how he messes with Martin. It is totally separate, but I can't feel sorry for Bill when he's constantly antagonizing a family he says he wants nothing to do with.
    • I understand what Lois did. I can see everyone's side, even if I don't agree with them.  That  proves it's a good story    Lois is far from ruined
    • Oh wow. Thanks so much for sharing!!!
    • The character of Lois has been ruined and trashed. There's no coming back from this mess. The current production and writing team have had no idea as to what made her special to begin with. She had a bit of moral fiber. Her treatment on the show is not atypical though, as most characters will get trashed, even beyond redemption, if it serves the current flavor of the month plotline.
    • No idea if this one had ever been up before or what the exact date is, but it's always good to look at/save the new AMC content while you can. If you're here for the drama there is some delirium with Adam and Erica about 10-12 minutes in.

    • I think there's a story to tell in someone who always believed in honesty and integrity being emmeshed in so many lies, but I agree that it wasn't very well laid out over the last few months. I think if I was more invested in Lois, I would have more of an issue than I do. Few can hold up against Jane. This is one of those cases where I think mentioning who already switched babies or have long-lost children would just take away from the fallout. If Lulu wants to drag Brook Lyn for hypocrisy there is probably still time (if the show bothers). I don't think anyone would claim these are the best GH episodes ever. It may be very lowered expectations at play. But I do think that scenes like yesterdays were some of Tracy's best, as she is a character who is often not allowed that type of moment.
    • You would think that, wouldn't you? I'd almost think they needed the money to get Robert Newman back, but they also had to know Larkin wasn't going to stick around and play second banana either. I don't get what the writers thought they were doing with Calla. Long liked using actors from Texas, but other than Alex/Bev McKinsey, the characters she wrote for them seemed blah.
    • Bo has a bad history with kids named Zach. (too soon?)
    • Christie said in her interview this week -- that before taping this, she had recently started taking acting classes again, and had been doing some work in England, so that helped her to jump into Carrie for this (as well as it being all so familiar, it really was home.)
