February 7, 201510 yr Member No problem. She was on PC, but I think she appeared in a couple of GH episodes, too. I loved Chris/ Eve dynamic. JP & NN had awesome best friend chemistry, and any story w/ Chris was awesome to watch!

February 7, 201510 yr Member Once PC made the disastrous decision to make Eve a heroine, Chris was the only person I could tolerate her with...
February 7, 201510 yr Member The only time I hated Eve is when she broke up Kevin and Lucy. The rest of the time. I could tolerate her.
February 7, 201510 yr Member I liked Chris and Julie too (their relationship was much more interesting than the show probably intended it to be).
February 7, 201510 yr Member Count me in as a fan of Chris/Julie too (and the Chris/Eve friendship). And I loved early Eve. Not the heroine they turned her into. Gag. Early PC really wasn't all that bad. I've always thought they could have just added some of them to GH in 1997 instead of creating Port Charles. There really wasn't a need for PC, IMO, even though I did like a lot of it thinking back on the show. Not the greatest soap but hardly the worst, especially the first few years. They tried. GH had gotten so far removed from the hospital by this point that I thought PC made sense. It was kind of ironic though that the show called Port Charles focused on General Hospital, whereas General Hospital focused on the citizens of Port Charles
February 7, 201510 yr Member In my opinion, Port Charles shouldn't have turned into a supernatural soap, and I loved when PC had the telenovela format I did like when GH/PC crossed over, even though the tones of both soaps were different

It definitely was ironic that GH focused on the town while PC focused on the hospital. LOL. That's why I think they could have somewhat 'rebooted' GH with an infusion of new blood [the standouts from PC] and re-focused on the hospital. Oh well.

February 7, 201510 yr Member PC turning Supernatural is what gave it a longer life, besides PC was miles better when it was on than GH became later
February 7, 201510 yr Member PC was ahead of its time, and I imagine a vampire soap would have done better in the age of Twilight. the vampire stuff was well done at first. The supernatural element of the show was great and it helped it evolve well. Things got off the rails in the last two arcs when they kept the vampires around. The show was solid through Naked Eyes
