Top Secret Scoop on What Chuck Pratt Has Planned For The Young and the Restless

Well she should've went for an even better FOJ ... Nancy Curlee.

If I was Jill, I would've been knocking down her to door to get her to come back. I would offer both she and Stephen Demorest, Nancy's husband, head writing positions. I'd offer this woman the world. Chuck and anyone from my GH era would've been the last ones I pursued. Especially Pratt or Guza.

I would kill for her to be back on a HW team. But she left when the suits were just starting to try to control everything. Now it is even worse. None of the show's seem to have an actual bible anymore. All her delicate, intricate writing would be lost.

Plus a true FOJ soap hops with her. Curlee got off the Jill train and didn't hop back on I believe. This will be Pratt's 3rd trip.

Jill wouldnt leave Y&R her ratings are excellent right now. She is approaching two and half years as exec producer and Pratt wouldn't have been offered anything if it wasn't for Jill. Jill went above Angelica's head to Nina Tasslsr to get him hired. Pratt and Jill are thick as thieves. They have only known each other 25 to 26 years. Guza won't join he was very bitter about GH firing in 2011 by JFP he felt she stabbed him in back to save her job.

I was watching some of Greta's coronation....I sometimes wonder if Pratt would do a shoot-out story to "clean house" ....

Overall, expect a faster pace, deeper, more relatable emotions and a sense of, “I can’t believe they’re doing that!”

That doesn't sound good......sad.png ph34r.png

[KatherineChancellor]Dear God in Heaven[/KatherineChancellor] ALL the wrong things to say.

All of it BS, except the faster pace & the fact they're going to go for OTT, out of character things. THAT, I believe.

Some characters have been OOC for years though.....I shudder to think how much worse it will get...

Jill better hope he delivers because I can see CBS quickly lowering the axe on him if ratings plummet and viewer complaints go through the roof. At least let's hope. Maybe if [when] he fails we can get an actual good head writer.

That may happen....the only reason hack from hell MAB lasted was because of being married into the family....

Then we just have to go through Guza, and whichever writer worked for JFP under her tenure's who will probably mess up even more...

wait....Guza and JFP had a fallout right...?

Well, if Jill's "choice" fails, then I'd hope CBS/Sony push their own choice on her. I can't believe I read she wanted Griffith back. What's wrong with her? LOL. She clearly wants someone controllable.

No clue about Guza and Phelps. I personally can't see Guza doing a soap again but hell could always freeze over. It sort of has with Pratt on Y&R.

I would hope that they are smart in asking Sally Sussman Morina to take over like she should've until JFP begged for Pratt....but I think Jill would have to be fired first for that to happen...
