Here's the quote from the SOD GH recap:

"Luke" gloats to Luke that the cops now believe that Faison was the imposter all along. "Luke" proves to a baffled Luke that he's not wearing a mask. Later, "Luke" and Michael have a discussion about Sonny and Michael introduces him to Rosalie. Once Michael exits, "Luke" and Rosalie reveal that they know each other. "Luke" wants Rosalie to parlay her closeness with Michael into getting him a foot in the door at ELQ.

They've literally reset the entire storyline to before Tony Geary left.

so, like, does the show plan on pawing off all the bad stuff Luke did onto 'Luke'? Like, are they gonna say 'Luke' raped Laura, and 'Luke' ran down and killed that baby? Mess.

Oh they certainly wouldn't go that far. Not even Anthony Geary would be a fan of that. He's proud of every dark and disgusting thing Luke's ever done, because THAT after all is the "real" Luke, not some happily married domestic with a dog.
