Theres the ignore option. And people don't have to use quote option either. If you dislike someone and you don't have them on ignore, that's your own fault because it means you want to read that person's post. Johnny isn't saying anything that's ban-worthy.

Oh I didn't know she spoke about it. I knew JM had spoken about it. I'm sure GH would love to have him…Id love a recast Nick…of course we might get another grandpa recast...

I can't believe we're STILL talking about JM and some off-hand remark he made about working with Stafford. That was HOW long ago and some people are still punishing him for it? Cripes, just let it go.

He clarified those remarks, and SC clearly got over any unintended hurt. Stuff happens every day in the workplace, and reasonable people move on. JM and SC are adults, and they can handle it.

And no, you don't get to decide what these actors talk about. That's just ridiculous to think you should be able to control their mouths.

I get it. You don't like Josh Morrow, you call him a bad actor, and you want a recast. Guess what? It ain't happening. JM is set in the role, he does a fine job, and the audience likes/loves him in the role.

With all the problems YR has, Josh Morrow is your punching bag? I mean really?

Please. No one is punishing Josh Morrow and he's no one's punching bag. Talk about an over reaction. That doesn't mean we have to care who he wants for a screen partner or think he's a good actor or let anything go that we don't choose to. And no, you don't get to control what we talk about.

The only people who "overreacted" about what JM said about working with MS was the people who hate her and people who hated the Phick pairing. SC herself wanted to be paired with MM for Shadam. At least JM didn't leave Y&R when MS left like James Scott did when Alison Sweeney left DOOL because she was his perferred on screen partner.

Which OC is the best thing that could happen to Phyllis. GT is way too sexy and vibrant to be paired with Great Aunt Jack. I don't really mind Dixie/Rosanna/Kelly - they writers were really forced to "soften" Kelly up - in order to provide the contrast to Phyllis (since we knew the character was coming back). Yes, CW was awesome, but she's gone. Cady has her own style and after seeing her in other roles, I know what to expect from her. While the Kelly character is still all over the place, I think Cady has done a great job taking a directionless character and at least making her watchable.

Thanks to a recast 10 years ago, JM was no longer the weak link in the Newman family, but I've been more neutral on him. He's certainly no Ron Moss/Drake. Not even close. I view him more like Doug Davidson category of skills and that's more than fine. He doesn't chew scenery or attempt to 'act.' (Plenty of ones I could call out here.)

Honestly, his best work always seem to involve CG. Shick are Nikki/Victor and Phyllis is Ashley. It's the exact same pattern and there is nothing wrong with that. Shick is clearly the end game, just like we knew that Ashley was never going to be 'the final one' for Victor.

I'm curious to watch more GT/JM scenes. I do think the chemistry with Phick was pretty specific to the chemistry between JM/MS. GT is smoking and doing a great job, but I really see her being paired elsewhere. I'm definitely looking forward to Wednesday's episode.

Agree. His performance when Cassie died was heart breaking. I get choked up just thinking about it. JM seems to do his best work with kids in general although my other favorite JM scenes were when Nick turned Victor in for corporate espionage. He and EB were wonderful together in the confrontation where Victor found out it was Nick who turned him in to the authorities. Mostly though it comes across to me like JM phones it in the majority of the time.

I almost felt sorry for Jack today. Overall, it was a pretty good reveal. I was also impressed with whoever made the decision to have Phyllis mention her own paternity switch. Usually soaps just gloss over that kind of glaring repetition of history. Poor Summer that girl is not going to know if she's coming or going. Nothing really has to change for her, but I bet she ends up lashing out in some way.

Luckily, EJ and Johnny, and pretty much every other character saved today’s episode.  I didn’t expect Javi to be the one to save Sarah though, and I don’t mind it at all, because if it means that Javi is finally going to get his own identity/character, away from his douchy bf, I’m all for it. Javi’s scenes would’ve been a lot better had it not been for him. EJ and Johnny were the best part of today. Their conversation hit a lot of important beats and I’m so looking forward to seeing them play out. And now that EJ knows that Johnny is going to work for Xander, that opens up another dynamic to their storyline and to the Kiriakis family storylines as well. Tying them all together could be really good. There are so many story possibilities that can come out of this. And I thought Carson Boatman did a pretty good job again too.  I also liked that Johnny was there to comfort Chanel after everything that happened with Sarah. They’re so good together. But I do have mixed feelings about Chanel possibly forgiving Johnny so quickly. Hopefully, the question that she asked him at the end of today leads to more conflict for the two of them.  And yeah, still no changes in Alex’s character lol
    • Awesome, thanks so much for taking the time to grab this episode. I had a quick review of your rip because I was curious why it was 700MB and 30 minutes. The first 10 minutes of the episode is 3169 (opening credits at 5 minutes and again at 15 minutes). I thought we had the full HD version of ep.3170 on the YouTube channel, but it appears they added the wrong episode but labelled it 3170.

    • That's a name I haven't heard in a minute. Thanks!
    • Well, since I'm still up unexpected past my growing-into-it bedtime. lol.   I finally got to rewatch Monday's. I even rewatched Friday's to take it all in. Now that we got the reveal and hit the climax of the SilkPress Sheila storyline, now we get to watch the aftermath and/or turns that come with its climax. So far, so good. Friday left us with three cliffhangers. And what I found surprising was how I felt about them over a rewatch.    I know some of you all felt a way about the dialogue during Kat vs Eva. I remember liking it more the first time around and it was nice for them to have these scenes to establish more of a frenemy vibe for them going forward. That still held up. But I found myself agreeing with you all about that dialogue. lol. Still, it was nice to have both of their POVs.   Second up was Silk Press Sheila vs the Duprees. And I was happy to get a brief spat with Dani in there. But the rest standouts for me was Anita and Martin. Haters can hate and given the tail end of the episode, I will agree to a fault, but Brandon has impressed and he was on fire on Monday and had great subtle work on Friday. And that subtle work made it all the better. Like I believe I said when I was watching...BC has a much better grip on his character and seems to be realizing what his tics are so has started to be able to know when to turn it up and when to dial it down. And for the most part (emphasis on most), he got that. Meanwhile, TT was giving fierceness, and I was here for every minute of it. Her reading SilkPress. Her being quip about it. Her 'BE STILL.' Ooooo she had a chokehold on me as Anita gave what I was expecting her to SilkPress. WORTH THE WAIT. I also loved Vernon's CHOOSE SILENCE. I wonder though if SilkPress will figure out Martin's condition from her observing Anita and Vernon with him.   And speaking of worth it...Oooo YES Nicole vs Ted was worth totally worth it. Oooooo I knew DD would nail it, and it was all so well done. The fight between the part of Nicole who is a therapist vs Nicole as a woman who wants to express how she feels. And being so angry. And how there would be moments when it would shoot out of her. And how she would restrain herself. But how she felt she should not be restrain. Just the levels of processing and layers. And DD played it all so well. I do wish Maurice gave just a little bit more, but overall, I thought he did a good job even if it was just Ted coming across as a deadbeat and not at all redeemable. And Kat being there for her mother was so beautiful.   Minority, but I love the montage though yes, it did run a little long. Given how the Duprees like to bond (and also as I mentioned from my own very recent family experiences), it did not seem out of place to me.     That said...let's see how the aftermath worked in today's episode. Overall. Cuz RC can be hit or miss.
    • I wonder whose brilliant (

) idea it was to do an almost complete rip-off of the "who killed Tom King"-storyline. That's some quality style writing right there.....
