I think the actress you're referring to has serious back issues currently and cannot work out and is therefore gaining weight. Her character is too drunk to care.

IMO, the fault lies in wardrobe. As someone who has struggle with weight at various points in my life, I like it when shows have women who are either under or over the Hollywood ideal. Still, I think the key to that is dressing people in flattering clothing and soaps are failing at that, imo.

someone else has been writing this show. Monday's episode was a rip off of guiding light during the Curlee days. I suspect JFP took over the head writing duties at some point because all of the scripts in late August and thru Sept have been different.

I guess we won't address Aretha Franklin's heaving bosoms and jello arms the other night on LETTERMAN in that strapless dress. Next to her, Nikki is looking like Heidi Klum.

I can't with Retha these days. Dresses so inappropriately. Spaghetti strapped LOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWW cut dress with those hamhock arms is just ridiculous!

I agree..Even my hubby commented what huge arms this girl has and that pale skin freaks me out too..Not an attractive look.
