I'm not quite sure why there's a need to explain his new face? Only tragic soapy goodness can come out of that. Just replace him, make a VO announcement, and move the f-ck on!

I disagree. I think this keeps the door open for Burton, much to my annoyance. Jason has a new face, is it really him? Sure, until Steve wants to come back. Then it never was and this was just an evil scheme by...whoever (probably Catherine Bell or Reese).

Ok. Good point. Besides, we can't rule Burton out completely. Eventually, Miller will quit and JFP just might realize Dylan is a dud and write Burton out.

So what about Steve burton he wasn't fired he chose to leave. I much prefer him on y and r I loathed him on GH. Miller will be an amazing recast

Jason's return will hurt the show. Having him not on freed up a lot of time to switch the focus to other characters and create new male leads. These last two years we saw a bunch of guys rotate story (Morgan, Nathan, Ewen, Nikolas, Dante) and in a variety of stories not mobular and by returning this useless character to the show all they are doing is recreating the world where mob hitmen are good, thus necessitating ever more depraved villains. Faison wants to wear a rubber mask and trick women into loving him? In what world is that more villainous and evil than a guy paid good money to go around town shooting people?
