There is plenty of room for more people to come back though.....not that they care......It would have been nice to see at least Danny and Gina one more time.

I can think of at least 10 stories that could be told with the Chancellor family if they were to all come back, that doesn't involve the Newmans who TPTB think the show has to evolve around...

I read Nikki falling off the wagon has little to do with Ian but because she is so stressed over Victoria's problems and she's also concerned about Nick and Sharon getting back together.

you'd think after bludgeoning someone to death with a rock only 2-3 years ago, Y&R writers would think to cool it w/ Nikki's alcoholism crap once and for all... I mean damn. It's not even interesting anymore, but after getting away with murder... I think the character should be DONE.

MTS says a big part of Nikki's appeal is she's a wealthy, high-society woman who seemingly has everything, but yet she's a drunk in the gutter, the audience enjoys seeing her suffer-and she's happy to accomodate

I have always loved Nina. Those first 5 years or so of her character on the show are some if my favorite storylines on Y&R. Bill Bell must have loved her he gave her great material.
