I gotta rewatch but what I took away from it was that she hadn't told Justice, her son, that Travis want his father. I could be wrong but then I was hollering at Kelly because she was all he deserves to know who his father is blah blah blah and I kept going practice what you preach necausw yours sure as hell will not come out looking like Brad.

But you're absolutely right that they had entirely too much focus on Alex.

Jasmine Guy was a welcomed surprise, someone with some actual skill on this show could help it some. Kelly is an idiot for not seeing the writing on the wall, which is practically flashing in neon.

Randall is extremely crazy, he's almost scarier than Ed.

Esperanza sure knows how to hook up with the wrong guys, she is stupid for even getting connected with someone from the Colombian Cartel.

LOL at Yolanda. I swear, I have never heard of a white woman with that name, but this is Tyler Perry, so I guess he saw fit to name the character that.

I think Im the only one that doesn't see Randall as crazy or a villain. I almost feel as if he's intended to be the male lead to watch

FYI London, I rewatched last week and you were right that she said the boy didnt know the truth

Really? Ewwwwwwwwwww, like I don't see how he can come back from this crazy, fatal attraction style madness. I don't think you're the only one... well maybe here and that's a strong maybe because I don't know everyone's view on him. But I love your posts about him, they make me laugh. I like to think of AT as the male lead to watch but Brad's boring when he isn't investigating how his wife wound up pregnant.

Oh ok. I thought so only because I kept yelling that Kelly was being a hypocrite because she sure as hell won't want to tell her swirl baby when it comes out the womb that she got knocked up by the neighbor/husband's best friend.

    • Lol.  I love that this board still allows misinformation from a bad source.
    • Thanks @kalbir what a time to have enjoyed the peak of the primetime soaps. Haha you’re good. The only complaint I have with Lorraine’s death as I mentioned recently in the FC thread was it was overkill, and all we got Apollonia. If a pregnant woman had to be killed off, I would’ve chosen just killing off Robin instead in some freak accident or in the explosion at Richard’s to save us from us that disaster lol.    Did Hotel have a cliffhanger that year? I imagine if Hotel had been soapier we would’ve had cliffhangers like the hotel catching on fire or bombed by an ex-lover of Christine. Peter pisses everyone off and is shot in his office. Or a major Golden age star like a Olivia de Havilland shows and tells how she originally owned the Hotel and how Victoria Cabot & Laura Trent stole it from her but now she owns it etc.
    • The whole AMC 2.0 pulled it together in mere weeks to get a show up and running, with scripts and a cast.

Ginger Smith seemed really passionate about being in the executive producer position, and I think she really did a fantastic job in six weeks. It was just well done.
    • I totally didn’t pick up on that. Just perfect! I don’t get the Maurice Johnson hate around here at all. He didn’t take me out of the scenes at all. I understood everything he was portraying. It was great. I do wonder if there will be a personality shift with the new actor, whom I’m still not excited about. Exactly. Right? I’m in the exact same boat as you. Agree with most of this except I never found anything off with Ted, didn’t suspect a thing. I just watched yesterday’s episode and it was one of the best soap episodes I’ve seen in a very long time. I was enthralled the entire time. Just fantastic.
    • Yep! Very curious to see where this goes.
    • I was confused too, but I think it was always a "tribute thread" (this one and OLTL's were created when their cancellations were announced). They just changed the show abbreviations to their titles spelled out, I guess to make the board just a little bit more uniform. I was lost, too lol
    • Well... I am. I think she's losing her initial menacing presence. Slowly but surely. I need the crazy dialed back. But as I said... this is very miniscule negative reaction. I am loving the show right now. We'll see how they'll continue after the fireworks.
