IDK, either would make sense given the this set up was a ruse that blamed MEGA people. Maybe they are saying that they weren't in on that part of it?

I guess since the claim was they were homophobic and pro-Trump and racist (although the racist part was more when people thought the alleged attackers were white) I thought they were trying to deny all the accusations. Maybe I misunderstood.

It’s been reported that they took a magazine (perhaps with letters clipped out) from the apartment of the Nigerian brothers (which may explain the ransom note-style letter sent to the Empire set).

Just awful.....this guy is a nutcase.....I recall him appearing with Live with Kelly before the incident....never knew what he was brewing up to do in the next few weeks......

I keep thinking of that scene in A Thin Line Between Love and Hate where Lynn Whitfield's character beats herself up to frame Martin Lawrence's character. There is definitely something wrong with Jussie Smollett to do something like this.

I was watching the news earlier tonight while they were discussing this. The voiceover was saying, "Police have decided he is either the victim or the suspect." ?????

Didn't Robert De Niro do the same thing in the Cape Fear remake?

I can't remember. It's been many years since I've seen that movie and all I remember is him hiding under the car.

Consider the source but...they are claiming that the writers are scrambling to reduce Jussie’s role in the final couple of episodes this season.
