Big THR cover story.

Terrence Howard has always been insane, going way back, and I don't condone his past bad acts. I do, however, love him on the show.

Same here. I don't deny he's perfect in this show. I really try to avoid reading too much about actors I like. In this case TV Guide click baited me into reading this article.

I saw him on Broadway in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" with James Earl Jones. Afterward I read this really obnoxious interview he did and I was so grateful that I hadn't read it before. It would've completely colored my view of his performance. Conversely I watched an interview that he did where he talked about Jones and broke down in tears when he described what it was like to work with a legend.

Howard's got issues and in the end he's his own worst enemy. I think it's just a matter of time before he pulls a full Mel Gibson and incinerates his career completely. It's a shame. He's very talented.

Thoughts so far? I'm enjoying pieces, but once again, too much is going on and they're bouncing back and forth between scenes too much instead of just letting things play out.

It started out slow. Episode got better as it went on. I really didn't buy Chris Rock as a dangerous drug lord though.

I absolutely loved it! This is the show I wanted, one that seems to be taking its damn time to let beats play. Let's hope the seismic shift in Cookie and Jamal's relationship is long lasting.

Theres so much to talk about, let me process my thoughts.

I thought the pacing was much better tonight and I didn't mind the early cameos since they were confined to the first segment, Marisa Tomei and Chris Rock contributed to the actual plot and did fantastic in their roles so I enjoyed them. I'm glad they finally wrapped up this Cookie snitching story

Jamal is a prick and slowly turning into his father. Luscious is still a magnificent bastard, loved him turning the tables on the family and Chris Rock's role.

Cookie is still the best.
