Taking hostages and pulling guns have been done long before Carlivati became a headwriter.

I know that since it's been done so much in 80s and 90s movies too (mostly lifetime movies lol) and in soaps for a long time. But now it's something I associate with Carlivati, especially since he's ruined so much of GH. And maybe I'm biased since I'd want ANY soap to avoid stuff that he likes doing.

The promo does little for me! It just lacks so many things and a real true build up. I love DAYS, but it is a HUGE FORMER SHELL of itself. There is really nothing on here that is captivating or catching my attention.

I was watching clips of Kristen vs. Marlena and Nicole from last year and I can't believe this is even the same show I was watching last year.

Mathewson, don't hurt me but at this point I would take Carlivati as headwriter. (Ducks) I only say this because we might get some vets back under him. (Shrugs)

Hahaha that's understandable. Speaking of vets, I keep forgetting that people like Abe and Hope are still on the show. So much that I'm shocked every time I see them! Love your sig by the way. Not a big Jack fan but I miss Bo a lot!

He's frustrating to me because I feel like he COULD be good but man, I don't know what he smokes when he writes GH. It's a hot hot mess and mostly just plot, with characters missing in action for weeks and months on end. I don't like that aspect of it. And for as many vets as he brings back, he brings on just as many newcomers and most of them are just awful, with awful actors in the roles.
