I have a feeling that this is the show's response to the Franco/Carly backlash - that they think it's just about Sonny/Carly. So this is appeasement.

I don't think is about which Carly belongs better with Sonny, I think it is about Sonny/Carly and that secret about AJ, or it could be about something else totally different

At least we should be able to get a few vintage AJ/Carly flashbacks with Sean and Sarah.

I love this. I wish JB was asked back though, even if just for a second. She was a very talented actress who was never given a shot as Carly. She did great work during the breakdown story and if they had given her a chance to grow in the role people would have gotten used to her and grown to enjoy her.

Bransford wasn't asked back because she lives on the east coast (Brown & Braun are in LA) and Valentini didn't want to spend the money to fly her in and put her up in a hotel. No big deal since she was only on a blink of an eye.

But we can cast 123 newbies per week. Where did you read this though? Thanks for the info, boo!

If LW's carly refers to her hook up with franco can i have both Sjb's and Tb's slapping her for the entire last segment of the show? That would make me a happy longtime fan.

I don't believe they seriously cared about getting Bransford. I think they just used the convenient excuse. And I can't blame them, frankly.

All this does is reaffirm my opinion that Sarah is the true Carly. LW is quite decent, TB is a bit better (though LW sells the harder aspects of the character better - because Guza relegated Wright's Carly to 'meddling schemer' over 'romantic lead' several years ago, and like Sarah she's pretty good at pushing Maurice around) but Sarah is the one.

A poster on DC posted that along with what the plot was going to be. We will see on Tuesday if the plot was right and then we will probably be able to determine if they were FOS about JB haha.
