I can now confirm that the weekly daytime Nielsens (and corresponding preemption data) for EVERY WEEK will be available for the time frame of July 1979-September 1987 (except for one pesky week in August 1981). Updates on the remaining weeks needed (October 1987-August 1989) will be posted when available. Please be patient though. When you get to June, 1984, it will be great to finally put to rest the misbelief that Guiding Light hit #1. Why not knock some other show? You keep rubbing it in that GL never was number one, over and over again to knock it to us that GL was NEVER popular and its not cool. Plus Y&R was always the boring soap, had such a great time slot tho, my dad would watch it at dinner time. Why abc never moved amc there in the 80s to plug up 12:30, i'll never know.
