Who do you think the options are...Victoria, Kelly, Chloe, Chelsea, Hilary?...Lily?

Anybody is an option but they need to leave the romantic stuff alone and re-establish both character and actor on the canvas.

I don't think they will do Billy and Chelsea because for the most part they try to avoid them interacting because people usually are reminded that she raped him. This is why people should think twice about how they introduce characters. Down the road Billy/Chelsea could have been fun byt rapemances are not cute. Just like Daniel marrying Daisy was gross, though I got it.

As far as Lucy. When Villy were trying to legaly adopt Lucy they put out ads trying to find Daisy. If she didn't reply within that timeframe her parental rights would be terminated. Daniel terminated his. On the day of the deadline Phyllis marched into the courtroom with Daisy who told the judge she did not want to give up her rights. So the adoption was blocked.

You know what...I never thought that was why they avoided them interacting but you might be right. I always thought it was the conservatism of the show which dictates no woman on the show with different fathers on canvas. Men can have many baby momma's but women can only have one father for their kids. Chelsea is the only one I have ever known to have both on as contract players.

I don't see how they do that with him being newly broken up with Victoria so recently (I hope) and having a kid with her...the residuals must be played out right away.

Well to be honest, I always thought that a custody battle was the purpose of giving the kid to Victoria and Billy. I also never really thought the child was his. Here is the thing. It doesn't have to be a dramatic ripping of the child from Victoria's bosom. If Billy and Chelsea get together with johnnie visiting them and Chelsea playing stepmother to her own bio son, I can see Victoria choosing to allow them to have him full time while she is the noncustodial parent. Then I can see her choosing to bow out. Don't get me wrong, IRL it would never happen, but this is a soap. Anything is possible. Just because Chelsea has shown no interest in Johnny doesn't mean she never will. She gave the kid up presumably because she wanted him to have this two parent home..,if he is not going to have that then what was the purpose of her giving him up. I can see her rethinking her decision. Again, this is fiction.

I don't know. This summer Villy were on the outs and Chelsea still didn't seem to care about Johnny being affected by a potential Villy divorce. She just doesn't consider that kid her child. I think if TPTB could rewrite it I think they would. I mean honestly if you didn't know then you probably would never realize that Johnny was not biologically a Newman. There has only been mentioned lately due to Dylan because they are tying to remind Victor that he loves Cassie, Johnny, and Summer all the same regardless of their DNA. Yada yada. Besides I don't see Victoria losing Johnny without a fight. It will be WW3 with the Newmsns and Abbotts. They don't have Victor spouting stuff like "He will always be my grandson" for nothing. Not to mention we only see Johnny with the Newmans. I can't remember the last time he had interactions with a member of the Abbott family.

That is not the same as creating a new love story for him and pairing him straight away with someone new. Playing a break-up story is something different (if that's where this goes).

So Sharon and Cassie is a good comparison to Chelsea and Johnny. I could something similar playing out. Victoria deciding at the eleventh hour to give Johnny to her...especially if Chelsea and Billy are together.

I still don't. Why would she? Alice had long abandoned Cassie. She was only was going after Cassie because she was angry and wanted to stick it to the rich and powerful Newmans. She didn't really want to raise Cassie and once she realized that she bowed out. Victoria has basically been Johnny's only parent for 2 months. I think she would die before she let Billy take her son from her. Besides I don't see Billy doing that to her all at. He is not malicious.

It isn't a Reed situation were they wrote off the child actor because of unforseen health issues. They like Max Page so they keep him on as recurring. Though I think they need to just age him up already.

Raul left town after things ended with Brittany. (I think...drawing a blank)

Raul came back when Mac returned in 2009. He left shortly after. JT & Mac got married and she was pregnant. They left town together, taking Reed with them in 2010.

Even in pictures you can tell what the show used to be. Sigh.

Raul's fate was sealed when the writers foolishly decided to end Raul & Brittany (a great, unexpected couple with a lot of chemistry) so they could pair her with Bobby Marsino. Bobby looked like a creep and fool for getting with Brittany.
