Poor Lulu! My heart broke into a million pieces for her today. Bravo Emme Rylan! Amazing job!!!!!

Who else loved Lulu sticking it to Dumbte? Sonny puts a bullet in his chest and he lies. His wife needs him to have her back after the lie she told, and he's an officer of the court? Bastard!

Maxie can take those croc tears and shove it! Go shopping, bitch! I'm sure you'll feel better after buying a new purse.

I get such a kick out of Carly and Felix. They are hilarious together. What confuses me is why have Felix speaking for the audience when they have not done anything to write Carly better in this whole thing? What's the point?

I should have been ecstatic to see AJ, but the story just looked like something new out of nowhere. For some odd reason, I was not connecting with it, and that is because before it even got started, it was off screen for 2 months. I felt nothing.

Liv needs to be back in Bensonhurst YESTERDAY!

Why was Kaka in this eppy? Was she doing anything critical to the story?

Why is Carly spilling her guts to Felix? Now they are girlfriends? I had to FF that sh-t as all she did was recap crap that we the audience already know.

What happened to Elizabeth's beautiful hair?

I CANT with this Heather nonsense. Just free her from Fenrcliff already. Its ridiculous that she STILL manages to sneak out as she pleases. Heather going after Carly to protect Franco is a rehash of her going after Olivia to protect Steve

Carly couldn't wait to announce that she has yet another new penis to ride on. It was painful to hear her talk about how yes Franco arranged for her son's rape, but he never really meant for Michael to get hurt, and OMG now he saved Michael so it's all good anyway! He's a good man now! Are brain tumors contagious? This dumb bitch surely has something wrong with her head!

Lante handing the baby over to Spinelli actually made me a little teary. That was a sad scene.

Wow, the show remembered that AJ, Monica and Liz all exist.

She found a lucky penny! Very critical and interesting!

Anyone want to buy Burton's SOD award? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Soap-Opera-Digest-Award-Outstanding-Younger-Lead-Actor-1997-General-Hospital-/151170280720?ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:US:3160

I love this! I can get high off of the judges speech to Maxie. Long overdue, and he completely went in!

Did anyone else think Scottie was a bit cold? Taken FrankenTodd out of your mind, and just think about Scott reaching out to his son only to tell him to stay away?! That was pretty brutal! I loved Kin's delivery, though. In total politician mode, and it was great to see!

I'm just wondering how why it took so long for Burton to realize how worthless that thing was.

    • BTG joke immediately followed by an AMC joke (same context)
    • Thanks!   Was anyone watching during this time? Wondering how Peggy’s rape played out onscreen. It just seems cruel to subject the Brooks family to this trauma a 2nd time.   Feels like the writers have already given up on the character of Jennifer, even though she sticks around another year-plus. She should be a passionate and fierce protective mother, but instead she seems just reactionary (and not even mentioned in this recap) This was also the case in ‘73 when Chris was raped. The writers are definitely more invested Stuart as the Brooks parent.
    • BTG got another SNL reference at 00:50  CONTEXT (so it isn't misconstrued) in this joke swap segment, Michael Che frequently makes his white cohost Colin Jost read racist jokes written by Che.

    • It's obvious that Israel's presence is a major divisive issue, and this is something that the EBU needs to deal with. According to the now published results Israel got 13 out of a possible 19 max points in the semi-final, and while their song isn't bad there's no way they would get those numbers without some kind of manipulation/political voting. They are clearly using this contest as a way of improving their somewhat tarnished reputation. I know that some people are comparing this to the massive sympathy votes that Ukraine gets and which propelled them to victory in 2022, but I feel that that was a more genuine show of support than this concerted effort from Israel to influence the televoting. I even had an ad on Youtube from Israel in Swedish(!) asking for votes! It might not be against any rules, but it feels a bit icky nonetheless.
    • Yeah, as you wrote, an Israeli win would have been a political disaster. Congratulations to Austria. 0 points from the televoting to Switzerland was a disgrace. Other than that, I really enjoyed the show ... but I'm also glad that Eurovision season is over

    • Hahaha Sorry if I was too negative, I just started typing and typing once I got going hahaha
    • @dc11786 Thanks for taking time to answer my various questions, along with giving your thoughts on the different writing teams. I wonder why they didn't just have Ryder and TR leave together if Jane was going anyway. The discussions over the last few pages have made me more interested in watching these episodes than I have been over the years - without the extra details and analyses provided, these years can be difficult to decipher (not helped by how often Jo seems like a side character).
    • I didn't think this was very good (I've never yet seen a good episode of this revival), but you do get a lot of Michael Stroka. And if you are a Donna Reed Show fan, you also get Paul Petersen.
