I always thought Long/Curlee were a good team back in 1988-1990 on GL, and even though Curlee did well afterwards.. I think there was something missing when Long quit/got fired. I think Long is a good writer, just think her style doesn't always mesh with every soap.. which is what we saw with her attempts at Santa Barbara and OLTL. I think she would have been a good fit on AW especially with that show's biggest strength being friendships and big community parties/balls.

Possibly Robert Calhoun. October 11, 201312 yr Member Bring on Dena Higley and Scott Hamner as Executive Story Consultants and I'm HOOKED! I've saved them for my other soap, "Truth & Consequences." Laibson Directors: Bruce S. October 12, 201312 yr Member I have to asks since every one here lists either Clair or Wendy for their staff, What kind of soap are you thinking of?? I am guessing it will have a middle Class vibe to it?? I am interested in hearing more espcially "Sinners and Saints". The subject of Spirtuality needs to be discussed more IMO. Or at least the "Hypocrite Christian" that refuses to walk the walk At least, that is what I think the show is going to be about. That's exactly the route I am taking with it. It's been planned and written out since 2006 my senior of high school just need more touching up. Edited October 12, 201312 yr by Dr Neil Curtis

Is it going to be Campy like GCB or more serious?? I think it should b more serious but that is JMO. Either way it should be good.
October 12, 201312 yr Member I have to asks since every one here lists either Clair or Wendy for their staff, What kind of soap are you thinking of?? I am guessing it will have a middle Class vibe to it?? For me, I would usually say yes to Claire and Wendy, but I find their shows tended to get somewhat heavy-handed and dark, though I loved their GH. I respect their work tremendously, though the show I've put up here is more Y&R with cars and a sense of humour than anything else.
October 13, 201312 yr Member My collaborators: Exec Producer/Creator- juniorz1 Co-Exec Producer- John Conboy (if I couldn't convince JFP to take a back seat, and I doubt I could) Head Writers- Bridgette and Jerome Dobson Writing Team- Carolyn Culliton Richard Culliton Courtney Simon Patrick Mulcahey Maralyn Thoma Susan Bedsow Horgan
October 13, 201312 yr Member WOW!!! Clair Labine and/or Wendy Riche are like on everybody's "Dream" list!!! This is who I would pick. I really don't know enough about the other writers.

Though I would perhaps plump for Edward Scott or Shaughnessy as co-EP instead of Conboy. From SON, I would have Jack Peyton running things. Obviously. And the input of Cheap and Daytime Fan would be invaluable. And this is not a popular choice but l would have Jamey Giddens initially consulting, too. *hides* Edited October 13, 201312 yr by Cat

October 14, 201312 yr Member And this is not a popular choice but l would have Jamey Giddens initially consulting, too. *hides* You know, he's a bit of a nutter, but I really enjoy his ideas sometimes for the soaps, myself. No shame in that, you got my support. Haha.
