Dylan will be her son, but we don't yet know who the father is.

I say instead of his father being a current character or one that has been on the show before, they will create a new one out of the blue and cast a FOJ's she's is dying to have on. Probably someone like Kale Brown.

I don't have a problem with bringing in somewhat distant relatives of core families. It's more the long lost kid stuff that bothers me. A cousin makes sense for me. If it were me I'd dump any current Abbott sans Traci and start fresh.

I love long lost kid storylines, LOL!

Kemmo's not coming back because he's Vietnamese, that's all it is. If Jack had a white son in his age range he never would have been written off. Why do we keep acting like he's an actual option?

They should have brought in the character of Brooks Prentiss, Chuck Foster or Jennifer Elizabeth Foster to freshen things up. They would have ties to the original core families. Most soaps always have some sort of tie to their original families, but Y&R swept theirs under the rug and have harped on Abbott/Newman conflict for 30 years. It's like beating a dead horse.

The only 3 characters left from the 70's are Jill, Nikki & Paul.

I agree. I wish they would bring on Brooks Prentise and make him one of the new power players of GC. Not like they would have to do much as far as backstory. His family is rich in it. He can be a *new* character with existing ties aleady. I also wouldn't mind a new Foster around to give Jil some family other than lame ass Cane since they refuse to have her interact with Billy.

I can't believe she never got Mark Derwin to appear on General Hospital during her long, miserable reign. Maybe she'll coerce him into making a brief stint as Dullan's dad?

He was on Y&R in the past

The Vietnam war ended in 1975. Keemo would a lot older than 30.

This is a soap where children born in 2007 are now 18 years old....a character that has not been on screen in 20 can be de-soras'd. As long as he is not too young. Him being 20 would be ridiculous. But him being 35 to 40 is do-able.

Of course we know that is the reason in the past...JFP has no problem bringing on minority characters. I don't see Keemo would be a problem for her. I do agree that if Keemo were white he would be leading this show right now.

I will literally die if this is a recast for Keemo and they hire a white actor.

I don't think that they have the balls...if they did, they would have done that years ago.
