Stripping for a Cause

Galen and Eric say they had no problem shooting the show's magic Mike spoof which airs April 23rd. Michael Logan says when you launch your career on Passions, you probably don't have much dignity left

Eric says Days brought in a choreographer that showed them a few choice moves which are banned in certain countries, he and Galen had no issues, not after Passions, where they'd take their clothes off for mundane reasons, this thing on Days is business as usual.

It's for a good cause, well two actually, the men of Salem are taking part in the strip show to benefit Salem University Hospital but also to aid fellow student Cameron David who is moonlighting as a stripper to pay his med school bills.

Gering says "Cameron is in danger of being caught and losing his job as a doctor, so they are helping him out by joining him on stage "

Things get even more frisk when the women of Salem show up. Garing says "There's nothing like taking your clothes off in front of Caroline Brady, it's even weirder when she starts shoving cash down your crotch, it takes your career to a whole new level"

Kind of pathetic for Logan to trash that show considering some of what he praises.

The Magic Mike spoof is coming a little late - but that's soaps for you.

I agree it is a little late, considering the time that has passed since that movie came out.

I can understand if a cartoon does a spoof of a movie since there is a lead time for animation, etc (It's flashbeagle Charlie brown coming out several months after Flashdance had come out). but not a live tv show.

Hell, they were probably taped before Magic Mike was filmed.

Around the time Ali Sweeney dyed her pink streak for Breast Cancer Awareness 2011.

"Michael Logan says when you launch your career on Passions, you probably don't have much dignity left."

Wow. Okay.

Natalie Zea, Justin Hartley, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Blair Redford, Travis Schuldt, and McKenzie Westmore, to name a couple, seem to be doing pretty well for themselves.

Blair Redford launched his career on Y&R not Passions. He was on Y&R first. And McKenzie doesn't really count since her Face Off fame is via her family of famous makeup artists. But everyone else I'll give ya.

I'd love to see Chandler massey on this...

I'm glad that Caroline doesn't have to see her great-grandson stripping. That perhaps is why Will is not included...I hope it isn't because the character is gay.
