I'm chalking that up to his trying to be open and honest about his experience while respecting her privacy.

I second this. He is doing a magnificent job at informing the general public on her status while keeping things close to his chest simultaneously. The pain and agony in his FB updates is excruciating, to say the least. Apparently his brother, well the family is facing a decision right now. and that decision is hurting so badly.

I think Corbin Bernsen has been magnificent and has done his mother proud.

God speed Jeanne.

This is just too sad to even comprehend......I can't even begin to understand how he must be feeling. I just pray God gives him the grace to get thru this....

Contrary to some statement, Jeanne Cooper is doing better and sitting with her daughter Caren by her bedside!!

My mother had surgery a few weeks ago and I'm happy to say she's bounced back like a champ but seeing her in the hospital, on a walker, etc... made me crazy. I can;t imagine what it has been like for Corbin to say this long goodbye but I'm grateful that he's let us be a part of it. I know it sounds all "internet dramatic" but I really wish I could give him a hug right now. Not just to show him my support during this awful time but to thank him for reminding me how lucky/blessed I've been recently. I was just updating Mom on Jeanne's condition today and she reminded me how much my father, who died in 1990, loved Katherine Chancellor.
