EEeeeee! I haven't gotten to watch Y&R in a couple weeks and I'm getting all my faves (save Jill) today!

LOVING Avery telling Phyllis that she and Nick are engaged. Also love that Phyllis is acting like.....Phyllis again!

LOVING that Sharon is still a little cray-cray! How many messages does it take before Sharon stops thinking of her vagina and remembers her DAUGHTER? That was presumed DEAD. Because of the guy that she was about to take her panties off for? God I LOVE this woman. She's such a mess and Sharon+a messy life= An entertaining Sharon!

I actually really like Steve Burton on this show and think he fits right in. I like Dylan McEvoy!

My only wish is that Lauren were on trying to resist Carmine's advances today, but the rest I'll take.

I'm watching LIVE on SoapNet, but one last thing- how nice to see GhostJohn coming to rain on Jack's parade today. Good stuff!

Blech, and Stafford just ruined it by making those bouncing ball noises. God, she is so effing insufferable! I'm really glad that JFP saw the same thing in Jessica Collins' Avery that I saw from jump- potential! Let's just hope they keep her quirks intact because that's what made me fall in love with her in the first place.

I agree. I like their scenes together, the friendly chemistry, but romantic love? Not feeling it at all. I don't know whether this is Michelle Stafford deliberately projecting her dislike for this pairing, or whether it is Peter Bergman's now-legendary inability to conjure up the laddish sexual chemistry needed for the character of Jack. But it's not happening -- and I don't think it would work with CLB, either.

MS did perk up in that scene with Avery though. What a raging bitch Phyllis is, but at least she has made Nick-Avery interesting for the first time ever. I love Avery but she and Nick are like watching paint dry. Dylan and Chelsea are about the same.

This was a better episode than Monday's which actually made me want to gouge my eyes out in boredom. I blame Ambien Heinle and Sominex Miller, personally. I'm not saying I want Hogan Sheffer-type ridiculousness or a slo-mo shootout at Crimson Lights, but Y&R needs just a bit more oomph to go with some admirable character-driven writing it has been doing lately (Lauren, Michael, etc).
