I thought Daniel and Jennifer having sex at the cabin was a natural culmination after the many times they were almost there but interrupted by Chloe. This had to be coming, and if it hadn't, it wouldn't have made sense given what had gone before. Shawn Christian is a good actor who gives Daniel subtlety and personality, and shows Daniel's reactions in his face and his eyes to what is going on in a scene. The only real bad thing about the story for me has been and continues to be Chloe's over the top desperation and psycho stalking. Chloe wouldn't even listen to her mother trying to save her from utter humiliation.

This I disagree with. I don't think Shawn Christian is a good actor. Were we watching the same scenes when Daniel was supposed to be drunk? He was horrible and he just came across as more tired than inebriated. I look at Shawn Christian as an adequate actor as opposed to a good actor. However, he sometimes has spurts of good acting (like when he found out that Parker wasn't his) so he has potential. But I can name at least 10 male actors on this show with better acting skills and possess a lot more range than Shawn Christian. As far as I am concerned, Shawn Christian is a fitness model who acts. He is currently incapable of driving story as a lead character or even as a supporting character. But on a positive note, I think he is extremely sexy but sexy doesn't drive story unless its porn.

It was used on ATWT. Kevin called Luke that. I actually wish the show hadn't gone there ... I feel like the show is starting to paint Nick too one-dimensional and bad.

Laughed or agreed with a lot of your points (although knowing certain spoilers puts some of it in different perspective). I loved the glint on Kristen's ring too.

On paper I agree with you, but the way Berris delivered the line, it seems there is a lot to unpack - the exact opposite of one dimensional and cartoony bad. The scorn in the delivery makes me believe there is a personal experience behind it, and the show has hinted at it alot. The show better play it through though, otherwise like you said, then it is one-dimensional and a major tease.

Just finished watching my marathon of this week’s DAYS episodes. Here are my random thoughts.

• I’m going to need Marlena to go back to the 80s and 90s and retrieve her backbone.
• Nicole was a sassy black girl in her former life and Nancy was a bitchy drag queen in her former life
• Cameron is a beautiful mocha chocolate god and Vargas is beautiful talking penis.
• Jennifer needs to get a job.
• Why does everyone have the same boring Nextel ringtone on their cell phones?
• I am convinced Shawn Christian is sleeping with somebody at Sony or NBC. That is the only explanation of why he is being shoved down our throats everyday as a lead character in an A story.
• I’ve decided to make up my own backstory about Bo. He and Billy are back together and Hope is too embarrassed and proud to let people find out so she is keeping it a secret.
• I officially hate John Blah (not a typo…)
• Cameron clearly has a gambling problem.
• As much as I love Eileen Davidson’s portrayal of Kristen, she is too good for this show. She needs to be in primetime. She’s such a great actress!
• The only triangle Jennifer ever worked in was the Jack/Jennifer/Peter triangle in the mid-90s.
• The music on this show has gotten a lot better. No more cheesy Casio presets.
• Is it a sin for Eric to wear regular clothes every once in a while? So tired of seeing him all covered up in that priest get-up. Wish he was the hip cool priest.
• Nadia Bjorlin seems to like how the writers continue to ruin her character. She always comes back for more
• Did anyone else catch EJ flirting with Sonny with that “Don’t you think it would be fun” line? I love it when James Scott plays EJ as bi-curious!
• It’s so ironic that in a church, the bad (Nicole) is the one trying to protect the good (Eric) from the bad (Vargas).
• I love it when Sonny gets angry. He is much more interesting. He’s definitely the top lol
• LOL @ the “ding” when Kristen showed her engagement ring to Sami and “EEEEEge”

So do we know that Vargas did something to Nick in prison or is it speculation? (Sorry I watch only 2 or 3 times a week just to be as caught up as I can)

Just speculation from watching. I don't read spoilers anymore, so there may be something more but nothing on screen yet.

We're about 99% sure Vargas did stab him though - just need it confirmed through a flashback or conversation.

I hope not. Nick is a great antagonist in the baby story. Blake Berris does a phenomenal job portraying Nick. I'm not the biggest Nick fan, but I think the show needs him right now.

I agree. I don't need to ever see another lame soap murder mystery. Nick sticking around and stirring [!@#$%^&*] with everybody and everybody having to just deal with it is much better drama IMO.

Thanks for the kudos. I tend to agree with you regarding Deidre. She does her best work when she is NOT with Drake. Marlena is also more enjoyable when she is NOT in scenes with John. I'm not sure what happened but those two actors and characters used to be so much better as a unit back in the DAYS (pun intended). I'm still a Jarlena fan but not as how they are currently being written. If this horrible writing for them continues, I may have to return my Jarlena card.
