It probably means he's coming back but it may be to help further create a complication alongside Felix and Milo. A triangle maybe? I think the writers want to try something with Milo because why would they revisit Felix having a crush on him? That was settled months ago, or so we thought.

Tuesday wasn't as good ... I hate Dante, he should be thrown off the force for police brutality. I'm also sick of one-dimensional archvillainess Dr. Obrecht, with her zick agcent and evil vays. I think the show wants to suggest the surprise she and Britt are talking about is revealing Robin is alive to Patrick, so maybe it actually won't be that. I did like Obrecht hiding her face and turning her back when Anna was there.

Also I haven't mentioned yet, I still love Finola Hughes and Anna Devane! True to form as the great cop I remember from AMC. (I actually saw her first on AMC, not GH in the 80s.)

Seems like a a real big waste for TJ, who I liked from what I saw Tuesday, not to be Tommy Hardy. Any way to retcon that into happening?

I liked Epiphany talking to Patrick. Some may consider it propping up Sabrina, but I thought the conversation was more about Patrick. Also I LOL'ed at the use of "realization" instead of "epi ..."

Felix mentioned that Milo had told him he wasn't gay and explained that he was hoping Milo was just in denial -- I can relate to that. I feel like the actor who plays Milo is underwhelming though. If the greatness of any character has been told, not shown, ad nauseam, the past few days for me, it's "magic Milo."

I didn't read too much into the mention of Lucas. Soaps sometimes like to throw in these references to history and family. It would be natural for Bobbie to bring up her son after not being seen for several years. Viewers would want to know. It would be cool if he does come on though.

I see what people are saying about Nikolas's shooting not having enough buildup, and I don't want either amnesia or for him to be unconscious for weeks either, but I don't think there's anything wrong with something happening every episode, with the show not wanting you to miss a day. And it wouldn't have worked for him to have had a lot of time to talk to Laura before being shot, for the sake of the Lulu plot. There will be time for that later.

Yes there is action and stuff happening, and every episode is an event, but there are still emotional stakes and the focus is still on the characters and their relationships. The show really took a lot of time for Scott and Bobbie to just go down memory lane and discuss some of the ups and downs of their lives. It was a great touch. I'm also getting a consistent theme of so many characters wanting other people who they can't have ... It wasn't just random for Scotty to mention his torch for Laura and Bobbie's torch for Scott, in the context of the other major story in the episode around Felix wanting Milo who wants Sabrina who along with Britt wants Patrick who misses Robin.

Some of what Alexis said (like her "I'm sorry") made me think she might know something about Lulu or the shooting. Also the fact that Olivia had her vision when Alexis was there.

Sincere thanks for the transcript, R Sinclair, it's informative, but I think you missed my point ..

I was mainly saying if any writers are to blame for that Felix/Milo discontinuity, it's not the script writers, it's either breakdown or head writers. Someone earlier in the thread -- not you, you were talking about the writers in general -- specifically called out the "script writers" as not communicating, blamed the "script writers" for forgetting that Felix had been told by Milo he wasn't gay, and implied that the "script writers" added on Felix's continued crush to what was "broken down" for them.

The blame was being focused on script writers in the post when it shouldn't be. That's the bulk of what I was replying to.

Clearly as we saw Tuesday, the "script writer" Katherine Schock did mention that Felix had been told by Milo he wasn't gay, and also clearly it is part of the storyline that Felix has a crush, not added on by the "script writers."

It's true that I was also saying though, in addition, that it's believable that Felix would still have a crush after that. I don't think it's discontinuity at all, script or otherwise. Even with the transcript, I still don't see the discontinuity. There are plenty of reasons for someone who has a crush to still hold on to irrational hope after a conversation like the one you quoted -- for example, "not that I'm aware of"?

That was me, and I freely admit that you guys are much better at who does what than I am.

My point is that to have the audience watch this man just 2 months ago being refused sex because the object of his attraction is straight and then he's disappointed because this man is asking a woman out IS ABSOLUTELY LUDICROUS! Felix being attracted to Milo is perfectly ok, but to have a school girl crush and pining? That's madness! How long does he wait until Milo "turns"? I was going to ask how old Felix was, but considering he spent the entire eppy with a 5 year old, I guess I got my answer! BTW, he and Emma were divine together :)

This kind of "writing" is consistent and it simply stinks!

Reminds me of Trassions where the morons had Luis and Sheridan arrive home twice on 2 different eppies, airing a week apart, in different clothing from the same trip. You don't get a "do over" onscreen! Awful! Just awful!

Felix is a grown man who should be written as such. Kish got better treatment!

Hence is why I said TIIC.

Then again, at least Kish got to hook up with one another (as well date another man, in the case of Kyle). From what I'm seen of Felix so far, his only purpose is to dish sassy advice to the non-Black characters while having no man or family of his own - much like Mammy Epiphany - so, it looks like you're right after all.

    • It’s not about a lack of faith and trust in MVJ, it’s about a a lack of faith and trust in Ron Carlivati, who I think can be very sneaky and manipulative when he wants to be.  And, all that “He’s just a breakdown writer” talk never changed my mind about anything, because at Days, it was “just a breakdown writer” that gave us some of the worst episodes I’ve ever seen.

    • I think they’re desperately trying to cover his awful tattoos. But anyway them being unable to style short kings properly has been a major pet peeve of mine for a while now.  I honestly don’t understand what some people expect from actors to even begin considering them for recognition. Let’s be real—awards mostly mean that an actor is respected by their peers and has some level of cultural relevance. Actual judgment on the acting itself? That’s often secondary—highly subjective and shaped by the times. I completely agree on both points. If you’re an actor or a dancer you shouldn’t get any tattoos (sorry not sorry). Tomas’ tattoos are ugly too. And regarding the couples- you’re completely right. These writers are unable to write romance.   Further comments: - Kat cannot be this dumb to keep tampering with evidence over and over again. And I’m officially not a fan of the actress—every time she’s in a scene with Leslie, she doesn’t seem intimidated at all. She plays it like comic relief, which is just too much, especially when paired with Leslie’s histrionics and over-the-top antics. Leslie is older, dangerous, and has literally been portrayed as homicidal—Kat should be at least a little scared. • I also didn’t like Kat playing damsel in distress with the hotel manager. It gave off the same weird energy as Dani with the cop. I would’ve much preferred the version Paul Raven suggested, with her sneaking in through housekeeping. • And yes, Dani again accused Hayley of faking the pregnancy—this time even specifying she might be using a pillow under her shirt. (No fake miscarriage being mentioned) I stand by my take: this is ridiculous writing. No one in the real world—except us, the chronically online soap watchers—would even think of such a conspiracy theory. Haley is no Beyoncé. • What in the world was Chelsea wearing in her hair the other day? And this whole thing with Madison is beyond cringe. Chelsea’s coming off as needy and toxic—basically like every other Dupree. • I’m glad the casino storyline is moving forward, but it’s still boring as hell. Honestly, I’d be so here for a plot twist where Vanessa and Doug take Joey out. • The direction and editing lately have been rough. Abrupt cuts, weird pacing… something just feels off overall. There’s a strange uneasiness to how it’s all coming together. • And finally: Tomas is too much of a saint. Where are the messy sluts when you need them? (Vanessa doesn’t count.)
    • I was watching some August 1987 episodes and they brought back so many memories. I had some thoughts: Lisa and Jamie were so dull. Lisa was such a nothing character. It boggles my mind that so much story was centered around her in such a short amount of time. Joanna Going is a talented actress, but the material was just not there.  It was so good to see Wallingford and Mitch again. I know there was talk about Felicia a while back, but these episodes reminded me how integral Felicia was for the show.  Sally Spencer was done so dirty. She is turning in superb performances in an icky storyline. I wish she had stuck around longer. She has chemistry with everyone. The McKinnons should have lasted longer. Spencer had some strong stuff with Stephen Schnetzer and Mary Alexander. AW waster such a talented actress by getting rid of her. Justice for Cheryl too. I also missed Ed Fry when he left. Sandra Ferguson was a star from the moment she came on. She was charismatic and just popped. She had immediate chemistry with RKK and blended in well with Wyndham and Watson. I'd forgotten about the teenage Matthew.  I have no memory of Peggy Lazarus. She must not have lasted long. Was the original plan for John that he was going to turn out to be the twins' real father?
    • If the new and improved copies that @rsclassicfanforever has uploaded can be manually moved into the "by month, by year" folders, that would be awesome. I personally don't think it's necessary to keep the older versions (which either have Dutch subtitles hard coded on them, or are lesser in picture quality). That's a lot of valuable drive space that could be cleared. Just my view but can appreciate others may feel differently. The structure had been by month by year previously, so I think it would be easier to conform to that, where so much prior work to get it to that format has already been done. Hopefully you can "drag and drop" so the new copies are in the right month/year? Re Clips, I never look at them now we pretty much have the episodes in full. Appreciate others may use, however. Thanks for all your hard work here @BoldRestless!
