I hate seeing blind items and never knowing the answers. They just make me freak out, LOL. The only one I feel pretty good about guessing is that the last item is probably about Trevor St. John on OLTL, although I'm not sure how "insanely popular" he counts as. If that refers to one of AMC or OLTL, it's also possible they could be talking about Cameron Mathison, who is not popular on this board but is quite well known. It could also be another surprise return for GH.

I'm thinking these for the following:

GH's Lindsey Morgan: One young adult actress has already taped her last air show.

OLTL's Susie: This behind-the-scenes employee didn't quit — he or she was fired after clashing with the top dog over a soap's creative direction.

OLTL vs. GH: The casting wars between two soaps have only just begun.

In DC's mind, TSJ is "insanely popular." I think he is very popular today, but I reserve that kind of prose (even if I don't always agree with it) for people like Geary, Francis, the Kane women, Burton, Stephen Nichols and Mary Beth Evans, some of the DAYS heavyweights, Roger Howarth, Michael Easton - mostly old school greats, though, from the 80s.

The soaps at war might be either Y&R vs GH or GH vs OLTL or a combination of both lol. With the behind the scenes one, it now seems clear that is Susie Horgan at OLTL, unless we hear of somebody leaving/being fired from another soap.

Oh okay. When I first I read that scoop I didn't necessarily connect it to the finale shooting. I just took it as "After a year and a half the soapiness is truly back y'all: someone dies!".

Well Marcline read it that way too--and now that I read it that way, I think it's a legit reading. But I stick by what I thought it meant--either way it's not well written. I wouldn't be so surprised if they tried to stretch out and even tease the fact who got shot for the first four days....

I think the character dying scoop refers to the finale, but it is worded poorly. I took it to mean that (on Thursday 5/2) after a year and a half of waiting, we'll finally learn which character died. Not that someone who was shot on the finale finally dies and not that some random character we just met dies, but that we learn once and for all who (Marissa) died on the finale. I'm guessing that the first three shows will be pretty vague as to who exactly was killed...with characters on the show now mentioning those who are not part of the reboot (but were at the Chandler party) and saying things like "Pine Valley is not the same without ______" or "I can't believe how much I miss ________. I'm not sure how I've made it through the last five years without them" to throw out some red herrings until we learn that Erica, Jack, Tad, etc...moved away and Marissa is dead. JMO, though.

That's what I thought, too. They'll keep us in suspense as to whether Tad, Jack or Marissa are dead until Thursday when we learn who died (most likely it was Marissa).

I expect there will be a AMC preview video uploaded to youtube Thursday

I'll be waiting impatiently all day!

My gut tells me it's someone like TSJ but I'm hoping it's Michael Knight.

Last few eps? Oh ho ho no. I'm rewatching the last two months of OLTL because some of that [!@#$%^&*] was so bad I couldn't be bothered to watch the first time! Stacy, Rex, Aubrey and Cutter in Rio de Janeiro!

And yes, IIRC, David went away for that.

God I need to rewatch the finale. He was going to go away but didn't Adam or someone kinda sorta pardon him? I mean he did get locked up in the holding cell, but

I think the last one is John Stamos back on GH(even short term), there has been rumors he's been taping for awhile now

The actor receiving perks is so Burton lol

Could be! He is a household name.

Steve, I was thinking I wanted it to be Michael E Knight too.

That's always the problem with blind items. One person's "insanely popular is somebody else's "meh" and when I think household name I generally think crossover success like a John Stamos or a Josh Duhamel, not TSJ or CamMat but when it comes to DC it's all about hyperbole. I can't even touch the term "bubble thespian."

These days, in the soap 'press', insanely popular tends to mean "who do I want to !@#$%^&*]" or "who spends enough time kissing up to me".

just watched the finale yesterday. angie's big speech was at the police station after Jesse arrested David. she was trying to convince Jesse to let David go, then Adam pulled some strings on David's behalf as a way of thanking him for bringing Stewart back. Of course PP can just undo all of that so I am not sure it matters much.
