If we have to have Kendall back, and imo we really don't, I'd rather see them explore her relationships with her adoptive parents and how she could so easily turn her back on them when she learned Erica was her biological mother instead of more Zzzzendull drama.

Thanks, Errol! I loved how Jill Larson summed it up.

I suspect that's part of the opening, too, but ITA with Opal being another good choice.

Ewing? Otherwise, why bother recasting just to kill him off?

I want the old theme, too, and I hope they bring back the "dum, dum, dum" of the opening transitioning into the last scene again.

ITA! Soap spoilers can be too specific and deter you from watching. Although I do want preview videos of what's going to happen each week, maybe posted on YouTube as well to bring more viewers over to Hulu.

YES! I would love to see a story about this. She left PV in part because her adoptive father died. I could get behind a story in which her adoptive mother has cancer or some other illness, and Kendall is forced to deal with the fact that she abandoned her adoptive mother as soon as Erica and Bianca gave her the time of day.

I even thought it would be interesting if Alice had a foster child she adopted after Kendall ditched her, and Kendall ended up with guardianship over a teenage girl when Alice died, a young woman who hated everything Erica Kane because she knew how much Kendall's abandonment hurt Alice.

Was she the actress who played his cousin Pilar? I thought that name sounded familiar! I remember she was very green but had a lot of potential back then. They probably will pair her with Griffin.. though it would interesting if she is tested with JR.

She is for justice and following the law while JR seems to have trouble with that.

I continue to be pleased with the level of diversity AMC seems to be delivering. I also like that this female character sounds like a genuinely strong woman with a life, job and backbone (even though the "open her heart" stuff sounds straight up Harlequin romance but, hey it's a soap!)

    • I wonder if less set use was preparing for the move. They probably were preparing for this for awhile now
    • The early part of the season is decent. After that, Season 9 is probably one of the worst seasons until season 13. Season 10 is a little worse.    That would have made sense, even if it cost us one of my favorite scenes (Ben putting Lilliemae in a headlock). That's an excellent storyline and leads to the show's last strong season finale.
    • The TVC Studio 31 that they used for 38 years was only about 13,730 sq ft., according to the TVC website specs: https://televisioncityla.com/stages-offices/ Sunset Las Palmas Studios has 11 sound stages, which go up to 20,000 sq ft., though we're yet to learn which of those sound stages will house B&B. Depending on which one, the specs for it can be found here: https://www.sunsetstudios.com/los-angeles/las-palmas-studios/ Sound Stages 4, 5 and 9 are available for use starting September 1, 2025. It's unclear if either of those stages would be used by B&B since they begin production there starting Tuesday, August 19, 2025, which would be before the date shown on the website, but we shall see. Of those three sound stages, only Sound Stage 4 and 5 make sense since they are larger than the specs the show had at TVC, while 9 is quite smaller.  Sound Stage 4 would be the best option overall for B&B since it has 18,819 sq ft., the largest individual sound stage at the lot - Stage 3 and Stage 8 share space, which combined makes the space 19,900 sq ft. --- Forgot to add, unless there was an issue with storing the sets, the changes at TVC should have had no issue with production on the show, resulting in fewer set use as there has been no movement in terms of construction that would impact either show (B&B/Y&R). Of the 2-3 times I've been at the studio, the most recent for Don Diamont's 40 years at CBS, it was the most dead I had ever seen the space, but that could be due to vacations, holidays, or the preparation of the B&B move.
    • I didn't post about it in the BtG thread as I still don't watch the show (an hour runtime is just too much for me right now with a new soap I can't just mostly skip through) but I can't imagine the ego of someone who is hired as a breakdown writer and decides to [!@#$%^&*] their own name all over the show. Classless beyond belief. Any writer who cares more about masturbatory behavior than quality of work should not be hired.
    • Yeah, it would've made things more tightly woven.
    • I like Chelsea and Madison. Two very pretty black women as a potential couple. But I really wish this show would've showcased two very handsome black men as a couple instead.
    • I didn't even think of roasters from GH

Maybe this roast will take even more than two years
    • Irna wasn't involved with ATWT at the time of Neil's death, was she? I'm imagining a situation where right after his latest doctor's appointment, he's killed.
    • The Cruise of Deception was the first thing that came to mind when I mentioned that Brady might take after that side of the family
    • We all knew that TT is busy so if she's off screen for a bit except for phone calls and/or visits.. then it is what is. Ashley was nicely used as support... which the writers should have been doing since day 1 so that viewers could understand why exactly she's on the show LOL Chelsea/Madison.... seems too good to be true... we shall see. Shanice as a PT... if it means more airtime.. I'm good.
