Your Favorite Soap Characters Who are Often Forgotten

My mind also goes to GH (since i consider One Life a departed soap until it actually goes into production and gets on something.) but the first two that came to my mind was Bobbie Spencer Jones and Audrey Hardy. I think Elizabeth mentioned Audrey semi-occasionally but i never hear about Bobbie. they were two very important characters on the show for several decades Audrey started in the 60's and went to the early 2000's while Bobbie started in the late 70's and went to the late-2000's.

Bobbie is heard being paged on the loud speaker every so often at the hospital. AJ talked about her to Michael this past fall. Audrey is Liz's permanent babysitter. Last time I heard her mentioned was taking the kids to Disney World during the recent virus crisis

AMC- Kevin Sheffield, Kelsey Jefferson, Anton Lang, Gillian Andrassy Lavery (not totally forgotten but not mentioned enough after her death), Tim Dillon, Gloria Marsh, Alec McIntyre

B&B- CJ & Becky, Whip Jones (was that his last name?)

GH- V (did she have a last name), Gia Campbell (oh how I loved Nik & Gia), Sean & Tiff (not remembered on the show, I think fans still pretty much remember them fondly), Karen Wexler Cates, and most of all Zander

OLTL- two for Jason Webb, I loved him. Rebecca Lewis (do not acknowledge that horrible brief 2nd version), Andy Harrison Vega, Al Holden

Y&R- Tricia Dennison, Ryan McNeil, Brittany Hodges, Raul,

Aardanowski. I know I probably spelled that wrong

Ohh, I forgot about her. I liked her too.

Sean & Tiff (not remembered on the show, I think fans still pretty much remember them fondly)

Them too. I hope they get a shoutout during the 50th anniversary.

Not by the fans (okay, it seems like it sometimes), but even with her return in the final week, it feels like she was largely
forgotten:

As long as you're around, she will never be forgotten :)

Amanda and Alan-Michael Spaulding. It was a pretty egregious crime that neither of Alan's living biological children (that late '90s rewrite of Amanda's paternity never happened as far as I'm concerned) merited even a mention after Alan's death. It was all about Phillip and Phillip's children with that succubus leech Beth (what about Phillip's firstborn son, Zach, who Phillip and Harley named after Alan?).

Come to think of it, Hope Bauer Spaulding, Alan's true love and Alan-Michael's mother, was largely nonexistent even while Alan-Michael was front and center in the nineties.

One of my favorite scene-stealers, Detective Patrick Cutter (played by Scott Hoxby), is largely remembered for the way he died.

Right on the money. The Hope one was especially egregious. I think it was around two decades before they even mentioned her again (when that last, ridiculously young A-M was around).

Does anyone remember what finally made Gloria leave Pine Valley? I recall the scene with Stuart walking her out of Myrtle's house, and I know it had something to do with Dimitri and Maddie, but I'm blanking on the specifics.
