Here she is as a Top 5 finalist, including as the winner was crowned! (It wasn't her) Here she went by her full name, Sheryl Lynn Herring. The big difference, from what I understand, is that Miss America has scholarship money offered as part of winning the crown, and is usually less flashy than Miss USA.
