Daytime television's answer to Richard Branson is no more. According to Soap Opera Uncensored, suds veteran Stephen Nichols has taped his last episode as Tucker McCall on The Young and the Restless. In other Y&R casting news, the online magazine is reporting Jessica Heap is out as Eden Baldwin.

Not surprising either way. Heap had one appearance during Griffith's reign. Nichols' airtime also dropped, but that character was a miss from the beginning.

[!@#$%^&*] yes. Insert pointless gif here. I have wanted this for almost 3 years. Go away. Go away.

I think Tucker was a pointless character. I know a lot of people didn't like Jill as Katherine's daughter, but I think it should have been left that way. Jill and Katherine would still fight over a lot of things, so it didn't completely ruin the dynamics. They ended up keeping them mainly civil for the most part, anyway, so the change didn't make a ton of difference.

I never thought it should have been changed either, but if they did need to change it, they could have done a much better job. It was painfully clear that *ucker was there to replace Jill on the show. Viewers rejected him. Completely.

I've been waiting on this for almost three years and was just giving up hope. So happy I don't have to see that dull Tucker again, same goes for Eden.

Sorry, I love Patch but no one should be stuck on that shitheap.

I think Tucker will die and the company will be left to Devon and Abby is the one who buys Tuckers stocks and get's back the company for Victor and her family. that's why I think they are bringing Abby back. or it's left to Kay and she gives the stocks back to Victor.

Good call. Eden is a walking Ambien and Tucker has just been floundering around. I never liked the dull battles with Kay or bought him as a businessman. Thank goodness Jill won't have to be paired with him.

As a Jill fan, I rejoice in this news.

I only hope that Jill kills Tucker and that it reignites the Kay/Jill feud. This show desperately needs a shot in the arm and Kay/Jill feuding are the only thing that will do it.
