I hear the company behind USA hit Royal Pains has inked deals with SAG-AFTRA and DGA for the soaps’ production, eyed to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

It'll be interesting to see how they SORAS/deSORAS some of these characters to make for a level Pine Valley High playing field. Of course we'd all have liked Linda Gottlieb. But Susan Bedsow Horgan has a solid track record, a lot of good work under her belt on both OLTL and CBS soaps, and her tenure at OLTL is largely remembered fondly by a lot of people. She's the next best thing AFAIC.

I agree, she did best with the torch that was passed to her.

I figure the age groups would be (not accounting for who's actually going to be on the show versus who's not) Colby, Petey, Asher, Sean, Sam and Maddie in their early/mid 20s; Miranda, Emma, and AJ in their late teens; Spike, Ian, the other random kids in their early-mid teens (thus faceless for now).

LOL, see Trent had a relatively normal body, though actually no that's mostly not what I was missing. I like Asher's connections to the canvas and his personality. If you watch Trent in his other work, but also when he was playing Asher, he has a way of doing the scene seriously and effectively but with facial expressions that show he also wants to bring some humor and charisma to it. Asher was a little too serious to take advantage of fully of Trent's personality that he brought to the role (plus Asher's story was aimless after the first few months).

New AJ seems good! Yay!
