I'm actually inspired to write now:

The tale of a group of friends: broke, depressed as a result of family issues, all suffering from broken hearts. Each of them are avid soap opera fans. One of them comes up with the bright idea to begin soliciting sex, because their favorite soap opera character did it. Thinking it will be harmless fun, and good money, they do it. But what happens when they're sucked into a maniacal world of underground sex slavery?

Joe Puleo, a former colleague and camera operator at One Life to Live reminded me that my grandson's name "Jack Manning" was a character on the soap opera. He was the son of Todd and Blair Manning on the show. My wife's maiden name is Manning. Kristin Mozer and Joe Carchidi liked the name "Jack". They didn't know about the soap connection when they named him, Jack Manning Carchidi.

thanks, I am so dumbfounded why PP hasn't settled this, they are weeks away from filming, if the actors don't want to join, recast and move on, don't their writers need to know who they are writing for

Recasting up til production start is not unheard of. Im sure John & Starr are in scripts. Its just gonna come down to are KA & ME coming or do they recast

I think the potential for crossovers impacts how the scripts will be written. If ME and possibly KA can be persuaded to do the crossovers that PP seems to favor (huge mistake IMO) it will change the script, or more likely the scripts will be changed if crossovers are eliminated.

I have no dog in this race, but I totally agree that crossovers will be a huge mistake. It's just problems down the road that can be avoided.

Add me to the "crossovers won't work" column. The PP shows have enough issues to deal with without having to try and accommodate GH's narrative or production.
