Yay to the 5 year jump if it turns out to be true. AMC needed that jump. Hopefully they use it wisely.

I think that's a pretty good canvas. I'd like to see Bianca and Scott eventually but I think that's a good mix of vets/original characters and newbies.

Starting out without a Bianca or at least a Kendall with Erica out of PV is a mistake. Behind Susan, Binks and then Kendall make up the heart of the show. I hope they're holding that back from us but they're in the starter cast.

They also need more 20/30somethings.

Nope. They didn't start stepping on OLTL's legacy until they took "pieces" of it to GH to keep it alive.

ER is already like two years older than Bianca was (Not sure how old CBL is) so I guess her playing three years older than she is would not be a big deal..

I'm going to give it a chance. The teen set turned me off in the mid-1990s on AMC (and I was a teenager) but it was the teen set plus the Santos family (<-- they were new to me and IMO stepping over my favorite characters and couples). The trick is balance anyway you look at it.

Susan Lucci probably gave Dan the one-episode scoop at this event on Sunday.

I do think it's going to be weird not to have one Kane woman on the scene regularly with Miranda on the scene but we'll see - maybe they have some casting or recasting news up their sleeves.

This is why no news may be the best news. Every piece of news that comes out everyone takes in a negative way. PP just may be best keeping their mouths shut.

Desperate Houswives did a 5 year jump and it worked out good. I don't think they ever gave a specific year they were in after that If I remember right

You would think that now that PP have "officially" announced that they are manning the AMC/OLTL Facebook pages that they would go in and delete all the ABC and SOAPnet mentions (logos and such) that are still on the pages from the TV run.
