December 4, 201213 yr Member I wonder who will move in here when the Ranch is rebuilt next year. Please let it be Victoria, they need to burn the current house set she lives in. This is a nice, sleek, and modern set. The only thing I'm not crazy about are the curtains, but it's nice seeing Nikki play the piano again.
December 4, 201213 yr Member You know that pent house will be occupied by whatever character Robin Christopher plays.

December 4, 201213 yr Member I like it but it's a little too light, a little too small, and I don't like being cheated out of the sight of a full staircase.
December 4, 201213 yr Member I like it but it's a little too light, a little too small, and I don't like being cheated out of the sight of a full staircase. It's a penthouse though. I don't expect a penthouse apartment on a soap to have a large staircase
December 4, 201213 yr Member It's a penthouse though. I don't expect a penthouse apartment on a soap to have a large staircase I understand the budget aspect and I have in fact seen staircases like this one in real life apartments, but Dorian, Erica, Carlo/Alex/Todd, even Victor's last penthouse had grander ones. Dorian's was as big as the Drummonds' on Diff'rent Strokes. This one is more akin to Alexis' staircase in Dynasty.
December 4, 201213 yr Member I, too, enjoy a grand staircase. How is a bitch supposed to fall down those 3 steps and hurt herself? Guess nobody's miscarrying at the Newman Penthouse!

December 4, 201213 yr Member That place doesn't look modern, it looks like something from the 80s. It reminds me of the restaurant from It's A Living. MTS looks adorable in that video. And I love that they remembered that Nikki plays the piano. Edited December 4, 201213 yr by Darn
December 4, 201213 yr Member It reminds me of a scaled down version of Frasier's Seattle apartment, from the palette, down to the piano and modern painting. I think the wood is pretty, but just a little too hotel light, particularly for Victor. When I think Victor Newman, I think dark walnut, oxblood leather, piano black, pewter...
December 4, 201213 yr Member It does have a West Coast flair, it kinda has a more B&B feel to it than Y&R feel. Edited December 4, 201213 yr by Y&RWorldTurner
December 4, 201213 yr Member I'm really digging it. Very modern. It's most time-fitting and tasteful set this show has ever had... It's tiny though.
