As usual, I'm just thinking, "Great, another crap actor on a soap opera."

Too bad you knowing SOME gays doesn't mean you know them all. I know and have seen PLENTY like this character. It's called Midtown in Atlanta, GA.

he wasn't even that bad compared to the more flamboyant and loud ones you see on like RHoA or Drag Race

LOL exactly. Like they know every gay person on Earth. I know some are ready to jump on it being a stereotype but there are people out there like that.

Stereotypes always have a grain of truth. Otherwise, they wouldn't exist.

I can only speak for myself when I state that my cynicism isn't about Felix being an effeminate gay male character (as my concern would remain the same if he were introduced as another Karamo [a past Real World cast member who was the first openly [though he clearly wasn't comfortable in his skin at the time] Black gay member who went out of his way to portray himself as butch as possible) - it's about him being a Black character, the likes of which Ron couldn't write for if one bought him a clue on how to.

I have no issue with him being gay but if anything it's that he is a nurse. Even though more men are entering that field, it's still associated with feminity with many still viewing it as a women's job. The show finally gets a male nurse and the only one they have and he just happens to be gay and very feminine?

Are you a Georgia native as well?

Oh come on Anna, you've felt something was off about Duke for months now. Give the skepticism a rest!

AJ and Michael are a wonderful pair :)

Robert, wouldn't it be so much easier to just knock him the [!@#$%^&*] out and pull his mask off?
