Senait Ashenafi

is the passenger from hell -- TMZ has learned, she was arrested at a Dallas airport for public intoxication last weekend ... after allegedly raising a drunken ruckus on board an airplane.

According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, 46-year-old Ashenafi was arrested at DFW airport when police determined she was so drunk ... she was a danger to herself and others.

Sources on board the airplane tell us, Ashenafi threw a fit while everyone was boarding because she was stuck in coach ... instead of first class.

We're told she was also pissed her carry-on luggage had been relegated to the back of the plane due to limited overhead space.

According to the police report, Ashenafi allegedly even pushed a flight attendant during her temper tantrum.

The airplane's crew kicked Ashenafi off the aircraft and cops met her on the jetway. According to the report, they immediately noticed the smell of alcohol on Ashenafi's breath.

Officers then escorted her off the jetway and placed her under arrest for public intoxication.

Several calls to Ashenafi were not returned.

She's aged terribly, she doesn't look 46 IMO, more like 56. Looks like her liver is in poor shape as well.

There's more than just a simple grooming and intoxication issue here.

This saddens me because she was one of the reasons why I loved GH in the 90s. I guess the possibility of her coming back as Keesha for AJ (not that I wanted that, knowing Ron's history) is slimmer than I'd thought.

Looks like we know she's been up to now.

I always wanted to know what happened to her since she fell off the radar after she was fired from GH. Years later this arrest seems so random and judging by that mug shot the years have not been kind to her.

Though I suspect the answer, I'll ask anyway: was it her decision to stop acting after getting fired from GH or did she pretty much disappear into the same vortex as every blacktress who isn't lucky to get a primetime/movie big break does?

I never liked her dull ass character, and if Carly was ever good for anything, it was getting under that basic bitch's (thanks for that phrase, JP!) skin - that was all Keesha was useful for in her later years on the show anyway.

I can't even recall if Guza gave her any final scenes in 1998, that's how forgettable she had become.

I'd like to think that this incident is a hiccup in what is otherwise a fulfilling life post-GH, but I suspect that the truth is sadly closer to your scenario.

It's definitely depressing, considering that my dream GH relaunch consisted of her returning with a not-dead Justus in tow with Maya not far behind, completing the reenergizing of the Ward family.
