Granted, I haven't really followed Corrie since around the trial, but I thought that two-hander contained a lot of great observation and character detail (and really strong acting), and Deirdre's horror at Tracy's revelation made the ending so emotional and sad. She carried that show in 1997, despite some over the top writing, she made it work and the character's decent into deep psychosis was riveting.
