The thing is these Y&R actors need to realize though this is a freaking business and JFP is appointed their new boss. That means she has power and is there boss. JFP does not play freaking games. So if you want to be ON JFP's bad list watch out, she will F&&k ten times till Sunday. I think its stupid if you plan on talking about JFP. I will give JFP her due the woman has lasted 34 years in this biz, seven emmys, this is her sixth executive producer job and this woman has FREAKING BALLS. She is a BALLER to last this long in this biz. She kissed up to Angela Shapiro and her reward was GH promotion, Frons loved her and now Steve Kent adores her. Steve Kent is the BOSS. He fired a Bell and it shows the Bells don't have power over SONY. JFP might even be better then MAB. I don't love JFP but god the show was so bad under MAB and her facebook rants are just ridiculous. Honey its CALLED show business. I heard CBS wanted her out too. MAB doesn't have 34 years in the biz and has been executive producing soaps for 25 years. There isn't an executive producer that can match JFP's resume in the biz. She has more years then any EP currently. JFP is the meanest BITCH u can encounter. So if were Y&R actors I would not be speaking out against my new BOSS.

Why do you think Papa Bell created B&B in the first place? He knew this day was coming long before anyone else did. But at least with B&B, the Bells have no one to answer to except themselves. :)

I listened to the podcast. A few interesting tidbits.

Jamey said JFP won't have free reign, Sony is in charge & most cast cuts will be who Sony wants gone. And sounds like Sony wants many of the same people gone the viewers do (D-list Sitcom stars, ABC soap refugees).

Kevin Chipmunk story was MAB's, not Sheffer's like some suspected.

Josh Griffith is friends with Chris Goutman (who won't be coming to Y&R according to Jamey) who is still friends with Sheffer. Whether or not Sheffer stays depends on if Josh wants a Co-HW because Sheffer isn't a script or breakdown writer.

MAB had a choice between ditching Don Diamont or Doug Davidson

Apparently, Y&R's budget is still big enough to where most newbee's are making more money than what Robin Strasser was on OLTL. Y&R still has a large budget due to money coming in from international syndication (but doesn't make as much as B&B )

Sony forced MAB to get rid of Daisy

Jamey says Y&R has 2 years left on contract and Sony will give JFP & JG about 6 months to turn show around. Sony wants to keep CBS happy in order to keep Y&R around.

We already knew that though. She ended up making the right decision, both for the show and for Diamont (after 3 years of Bill Spencer does anyone even REMEMBER Brad Carlton?).

I listened to the podcast. I'm feeling more optimistic about all this now.

LOVED the mock interviews with MAB and JFP at the start.

I sure do remember Brad Carlton. Great character, still miss his presence on the canvas. Diamont has done well for himself at B&B.

The only reason to be optimistic is because MAB has been fired.

The mock MAB was BRILLIANT. The JFP is not quite JFP enough, I didn't hear enough I LOVE YOU COURTNEY PHELPS! for my liking...
