I'm still amazed at how terribly they handled that funeral. To barely have one because "hey, she isn't dead" is the cynical mentality that has helped keep their ratings so low in spite of endless hype.

Was Monica even present for the funeral? I honestly can't remember. I last remember Leslie being on when she had scenes with Heather (glad they at least did that), Tracy and Luke as Anthony's dead body was on the mansion grounds.

It just sounds to me like Ron and Frank despise the show and want it to go down. I honestly do believe they cared about OLTL but from the behind the scenes BS and what's on the screen, it's just horrible.

Why would they do that to John? Did they have something against him? That sounds very cruel sad.png How would his character appear all the way down to the recap level but he not be present in the episode itself?

Was the comment you made PP not being the only piece of the OLTL actors coming aboard about Melissa? It's ok if you can't say. I do find that VERY curious about Ted King, though. He seemed fine with them when he was at OLTL.

That's the last time Monica was on, near the end of May. She was not on for the funeral.

Thanks, I remember being mad that she wasn't on for something and that's when I gave up hope. I feel terrible for John Ingle though, he lost his wife and his job, at least for now. I definitely don't believe those claims of some huge Quartermaine story that RC had planned now.

When John's wife died, he was in the hospital. That episode where Edward collapses on the way to Robin's funeral was a way to write him out while he was sick. When his wife died, because he was already on sick leave, he didn't want to take additional time off, but ABC gave it to him anyway without even asking. So while he thought he was returning to work in April, the writers believed that too, ABC said otherwise.

I previously posted that he'll be returning to work in the coming weeks. He'll be back on GH before you know it.

Glad to hear Edward and Monica will be returning smile.png

MrQuartermaine, any more you can share on how RC and FV feel about Bobbie (for SoapBoy's sake) or some other vets they have interest in? Bobbie was huge in the 80s, which is when RC claims he was a steady watcher. I'm pretty sure that's why Anna and Heather are getting top airtime, they were also huge in the 80s.

If he cared that much about their 80's heyday he would have kept their history intact and not ruined Anna's character.

The quality of this show takes a nose dive whenever Sonny and Jason are featured.

Thank goodness Johnny checked Todd. I was getting annoyed with how sanctimonious the leader of a gang rape was being. rolleyes.gif That being said Johnny needs to do something, time is running out. Kate is a ticking time bomb waiting to spill and now Todd knows. The walls are closing in on him and it's not going to be pretty. I hate what Cartini have done to him, Johnny still has so much potential and is more enjoyable to watch then most of the people on this show now.

This new Kristina is grating on my nerves. Is she serious with this? She's in love with Trey?

I don't know what they have planned for Bobbie. Jackie Zeman is losing her house to foreclosure and working on a lot of projects to save it, so maybe they'll take pity on her and invite her back. And from my POV, I can't see them having another Nurses' Ball or 50th Anniversary without Bobbie Spencer.

Thank you so much for all your info! I would kill to see Bobbie again. She could so easily slide back into the canvas.

How do Cartini feel about Robin Christopher? any plans for more skye?

Haha, Jason is jealous of Carly's friendship with Todd

WTF? Johnny knew Heather took Anthony's body the entire time. I thought he was clueless about what happened to him after he had him left at the Qs.

Todd's a hypocrite. I loved Johnny calling him out on it. They arent all that different. Both are killers, both hurt those around them even if they dont intend to. Both have recently hurt mothers by keeping them from their kids. Todd hasa right to be upset considering his daughter was hurt but he needs to get off his high horse considering what he is currently doing

I liked Michael's hair today

Johnny's men are cute

Wow, did I really just see an extra walk in front of the camera. I cant believe they let that shot make it to air instead of editing it out. This show

I dont recall her saying she loved him. She seems infatuated with the guy

Skye's one character who I have heard very little about. I think a lot of the reason for her not coming back for her annual summer stint was because of Luke locked away, Tracy on the backburner, Edward MIA, and Jax off the show.

    • I loved watching Shanice hand Leslie her ass and finally shutting her up. It was so good. I also love Martin & Smitty's family.  Anita has to have some sort of plan giving Leslie the tickets to mail for Winterfest. She has to be setting her up for a fall. It's pretty obvious to me Vernon is not cheating with Sharon. I think Sharon is helping him with his terrible singing voice for Winterfest. I still believe Bill & Dani are endgame but I love Dani & Andre too. I am definitely enjoying this story. And making Hayley a black widow is a nice twist.
    • Sorry for the spam. Wasn't sure where to put this, it's from Tony Geary's husband's IG. Tony watching Genie and Maurice on Mo's show.
    • This show is really trundling along BTW. When is someone going to show up to slit Beastmaster's throat or crack the whip on metrosexual Sidwell? (BTW, openly presenting this cheery bon vivant as casually bisexual would at least be something vaguely diverting.) At least kill Brennan by year's end. I'm bored.
    • She told Vanessa to "DOUBLE her offer" on the Jarvis house.  The Jarvis family accepted the doubled price.  Assuming the house has an appraised value of $2,000,000, she's theoretically paid the Jarvis family $4,000,000 for the house.  The bank would loan Leslie 80% of the appraised value ($1,600,000), and Leslie had to pay the balance with cash at closing --- $2,200,000.  She only had ONE million.  Where the hell did she get the rest?!  And now she's got contractors working on the house all day & half the night.  Who's paying THEM?  I keep thinking all this will crash around her.  Either that or the writers have absolutely no idea the limits of a million dollars.  Sounds like a "lot of money", but it obviously ain't when we look at Leslie's spending since she got that million dollar check in August.

    • Vernon is an idiot. Why would he have Sharon in the same hotel that Leslie is staying at?
    • Yes, that out of the blue return was odd. Maybe GG found a forgotten clause in the contract he signed when he was wooed to ABC and they were forced to take him back! Like George Reinholt he talked about the contract that promised him primetime roles. But it was loaded in the networks favor. I think it was Gloria Loring that re-signed at Days on the promise of primetime opportunities, but that was all it was- she was put up for guest spots and TV movies but not necessarily guaranteed that she get the role.
    • I still am baffled by why Monty brought back stunt hire Gerald Gordon in the early '80s out of nowhere for like a year. I haven't found anyone who can come up with a thing he did in that second stint of note.
    • It's interesting to watch this having watched The Doctors. I'm not sure I'm seeing that much of a difference in the characters Gerald Gordon and Anna Stuart played on The Doctors and what they're playing here.
    • I keep forgetting a huge chunk of that year was written by scabs. You're probably right, because by the time the strike was over, they were likely planning an exit for Alan's character as it must have been obvious by then that Bernau was not going to return. If he was still there, it's also doubtful they would have approached MZ and MG about coming back. Wild.
