June 23, 201213 yr Member Walk of Fame 2013 stars Helen Mirren, Jennifer Hudson, James Franco and the Backstreet Boys are among the famous folks getting stars on Hollywood's Walk of Fame in 2013. Other entertainers slated for a star next year are Javier Bardem, Viola Davis, Simon Baker, Bryan Cranston, Jane Lynch, Katey Segal, Matthew Perry, Ellen DeGeneres and Olympia Dukakis; performers Penn & Teller; makeup artist Rick Baker; filmmaker Ron Howard; radio personalities Steve Harvey and "Shotgun" Tom Kelly; and musicians Jane's Addiction, New Kids on the Block, Janis Joplin, Usher, Thalia and Luther Vandross.
June 25, 201213 yr Member Jane Lynch? Are they serious? One role for less than 100 episodes qualifies someone for a star on the walk of fame these days?
June 25, 201213 yr Member I'd give one to her over James Franco, but for her work in the Christopher Guest movies.
June 25, 201213 yr Member I can see James Franco over Ellen Degeneres. At least he is an actor and not just some chat host. Why not Morton Downey Jr and Richard Bey, or maybe they can give one to Rachel Ray for her semiinal work making pasta.
June 25, 201213 yr Member I can see James Franco over Ellen Degeneres. At least he is an actor and not just some chat host. Why not Morton Downey Jr and Richard Bey, or maybe they can give one to Rachel Ray for her semiinal work making pasta. Ellen's had a successful career for 25-30 years, in standup, TV sitcoms, and talk show. I don't see the comparison to Richard Bey. Franco had one hit movie, which he had a supporting role in, and spends the rest of his time jerking off to his own ego.

June 25, 201213 yr Member This is actually a very good list. Helen Mirren, Backstreet Boys, Rick Baker, Ron Howard, Olympia Dukakis, Steve Harvey, Jane's Addiction, New Kids on the Block, Janis Joplin, Usher and Luther Vandross definantly deserve one. Jennifer Hudson, James Franco, Bryan Cranston, Katey Segal, Matthew Perry, Ellen DeGeneres, Penn & Teller are worthy of one, for some maybe a little early into their careers but they defiantly are worthy.
June 25, 201213 yr Member I'm most excited for Olympia Dukakis and Jennifer Hudson. When are they going to give Raven Symone one? Say what you want about her, but she's had a successful career for over 20 years and has always kept it classy.
June 25, 201213 yr Member James is a Best Actor Oscar nominee for 127 Hours and Golden Globe winner for playing James Dean in a TV movie. Not much reason then.
June 25, 201213 yr Member Not much reason then. I think he also got a Golden Globe nom for that movie Milk. I love James, but his star seems a little premature. He's just now becoming a big star, in terms of appeal, media, etc.
