At this point I think the only way Christian is going is if it's by his own choice (which it may very well be, as the show seems to be sinking anyway).

Greg Meng kept talking about Sony's research. You mark my words that Christian is getting good feedback. All the people who were fired in this round were, I'm sure, research related firings. They're going off the statistics.

I just thought of them as easy picks - Ashford and Clark have always been the first to go in cast culls. If research got rid of anyone I think it was Sarah Brown, whose character has been unpopular with viewers from the start.

Shawn Christian said that he gets a lot of bad feedback from fans, although maybe that doesn't show up in research.

I wouldnt say the start. Madison had a ton of good early buzz when she first came on. The storyline evventually turned into a dud and she became rather irrelevant

I always got the feeling the writeup for her got more reaction than the reality. Once they started all the sex scenes with Brady, people seemed to lose interest.

I guess now we'll never see Hope's modeling career again :(

On second reading, I think Sarah wasn't saying SHE learned about the decision on Twitter, but one of the other three might have. Since she said "Ken Corday & Greg Meng are class, they would not do that to us. Wasn't them who leaked it, & I didn't hear it first on Twitter. Who leaked?" That statement directly contradicts her first one in which she said she wouldn't like to hear of losing a job on Twitter.

This mess is getting messier by the minute.

PS. I didn't get a leak (yet), that I know for sure (joke/half serious).

Hahahah!

For real about Josh Taylor though. Roman has done absolutely nothing on the show and with Deidre back, we have a parent for Sami. I wish the show would kill him off or something.

If Christie Clark were staying, I would have said ask Wayne Norhtrup to come back (or at least on a recurring basis). Since that isn't happening, then I wish they would write Roman out, although that doesn't seem likely.

I'm just sorry Josh Taylor's last years on daytime seem to have been as a mushmouth charity case - I remember him as being a lot more than this up to the mid-90's.

Agreed. I used to be a fan of Josh Taylor, I thought he was actually fine as a Roman replacement early on and I will always love him as David's dad on 90210. But he's been utterly useless for over a decade.

Or she's back pedalling incase Madison is one of the characters that returns down the road.

I don't think anyones returning unless the show ends. IMO it's lip service from Meng to pacify pissed off fans.

Agreed, this is a back peddle. This feels just like the last reboot all over again.

Those people (Clark and Ashford) are always the first to go, in every regime. LOL!

I'm waiting for Hall and Hosestyn to be fired again now...

Very true. They have to be thinking wtf. Does Ken corday even show his face around the studios?

Only reason Josh Taylor's irrelevant keeps avoiding the chopping block is bc he is Ken Corday's golfing buddy. I'll never forget the story I heard that killed Roman off during the SSK storyline while Corday was on vacation.
