Jason and Robin were fairly enjoyable until Carly and Michael got forced into their story. It went downhill fast after that.

Definitely.

And i say that as someone who LOVED Carly back then. But she was truly the downfall of Jason/Robin.

I think the downfall was that the show glorified Jason being in the mob, and presented Robin as being a disgusting liar and hypocrite for doubting that.

That's true as well.

The ending of Jason/Robin disappointed me. I loved them so much, but then they decided to vilify Robin for being honorable and decent, while glorifying Jason for being a murderer just because he took a tramp and her spawn under his wing.

And a nagging shrew control freak.

The oNly good thing about Jason and Robin was that Steve Burton showed up to work opposite her. I thought he stopped trying after he returned to the show.

I have to admit I don't miss Robin at all. I think I'm just desensitized to anything on this show anymore. And I haven't enjoyed her at all since she returned. I wish she would have stayed gone like so many others who came back. She became a cold, needy whiney shrew who was portrayed as lucky to land Patrick. Like so much of the rest of GH today. The only stuff I liked was her work during the train wreck where we got to see her as a heroine.

I just liked that entire relationship. It was Jason's first real relationship, and it surprised me how much I liked Robin with Jason, considering how much i loved Robin and Stone. I think in a lot of ways, that relationship opened a lot of doors for Robin. I'm glad they didn't go the "Stone was my true love I'm never going to date again" route...They explored Jason/Robin, and it blossomed into something beautiful that helped progress both characters.

Now, that progress was soon backtracked, majorly, in Jason's case...But i think that relationship was definitive for Robin.

Same here. I absolutely loved Jason and Robin at the beginning. I would rush home to watch them. Of course, it all went wrong and Carly showed up with her spawn.

I stopped liking Jason after that accident.

Ditto.

The only Jason that mattered to me was Jason Quartermaine and once they killed him off to resurrect him as a brainless thug (while 'coincidentally' shuttling the lone Negress on the show at the time to backburner status), he became a useless sack of dung.

I think too many of the actresses look alike. Maxie, Kate, Steve's Dr. Friend... it is hard to keep them all clear in my head.

That's why they should have kept the original Kate, and they should have recast MumphisMaggie with Bree Williamson.

By SOD • Posted: Mar 6, 2012

This week, a shortened version of the GH opening credits began airing. That's not the end of the changes ahead. "It is a work-in-progress," reports a show spokesperson. "And expect a final new opening in the coming weeks."
